Agree with this. I'm a Nicks fan, and I think he's done a good job at getting our "base-line" level up. What will propel us is elite talent and these three have the capacity to become those players.

So what do we think we need to address in the draft? KPF? Mid speed/skills? I'd love to see EJ transition to fulltime mid, but obviously going to be a bit of time now before that happens.

While I am fully in the Smith/Draper basket for our pick, the suggestions of a meltdown for Langford is a stretch. At least Langford is the next considered in that bracket. It's no doubt he's around the mark. If we took Travaglia or Lindsay at our pick, there might be more of a melt.

Big tick for this. I'm not a super regular poster on here, but have definitely been trying to push this message when I do. We are in a golden spot, both Smith and Draper are perfect fits for our midfield group.

I'm firming more and more toward Lalor and Draper being a top 2 for us. I love Jagga's attributes and what he would add to our mids but I can't shake the Scotch college/go home stigma.

Once you select a player, you can't trade them. Although this would be a fun inclusion.

His gut running to link up further down the chain is a real point of difference for our midfield (although, it's also something peatling does well)

Ít's like people got bored of him at #1. If he's the one there at 4, I hope we take him. Might not have as much X-factor, but reminds me of a Pendlebury with his movement. If I was Richmond, and I traded up to #2, he's the one I'd take, not Draper. You can build a midfield around his type.

Lalor, FOS, Jagga and Draper... maybe then a half step down to Langford (who I don't think suits Adelaide's needs). I'd just sit there and take whoever is left. They all have skills which would improve out list. Although, we did draft McAsey so who knows!?

There's a clear top 4 in this years draft, I think Adelaide would be happy with any one of them. I can't see us giving up a F1 to move up 1 spot. (Especially given the Market Price to move from Pick 6 to Pick 2 :rolleyes:)

I expect North to slide back, I just don't think we should be the buyer. They don't need to add another Mid. I think Lalor suits them best with his ability to go forward, but wouldn't be surprised to see them slide back and take a KPF

Depends on the cost. Our F1 should be off the table no matter what. If we can get a F2 with two F3s, then I'd give that. IMO, those 4 are so even... any further cost than that it becomes not worth it.

I really love our spot in the draft. Each of Lalor, FOS, Jagga and Draper provide a point of difference that we need. Would be happy to sit and take whoever falls to us out of that lot. Hopefully Haggis thinks the same!
