Soligo
Worrell
MM
Rachelle
Fog
Pedlar
Jones
Milera
Nankervis
It appears we see them making head ways and improving, then it plateaus out and they seem to be unsure and second guess themselves, that development stalls is it they don’t understand there roll or have they had their natural instincts taken away from them

Sorry all. I had to post this and here seemed like as good a spot as any.

I actually have a trade for Gary Lyon after I have told him to go f*** himself and as he says, who says no?...Ned McHenry for Christian Petracca

‘DEES WOULD TAKE THILTHORPE’: GREAT’S TRADE IDEA

Harrison Petty for Riley Thilthorpe, who says no?

Demons great Garry Lyon believes his former club would accept a Petty for Thilthorpe trade if Petty requested a move back to his native South Australia to join the Crows at season’s end.

Petty’s future was uncertain last off-season amid murmurs of a move to Adelaide before nothing eventuated. But those rumblings have already picked up again.

Channel 7 reporter Theo Doropolous revealed there’s “growing belief” from Adelaide of landing the 24-year old ‘pre agent’ — meaning he’ll become a free agent at the end of next season — via trade.

Asked on Fox Footy if there’s anything the Crows could offer to interest Melbourne in a deal, Lyon responded: “Melbourne would take Riley Thilthorpe. Give a bit, get a bit.

“Fill that full forward role, pinch hit (in the ruck), give Max Gawn a chop out.”

After missing Melbourne's first two games this season due to a foot injury, Petty returned against Hawthorn, held goalless from 12 disposals and nine marks.

Ah the old give a bit, get a bit. Delusional.

We desperately need midfielders. Desperately. So we should be making every move possible, including future picks to try and get at least two of these.
Instead we will give up our first round pick for Petty, and a second rounder or future first for Welsh - yet another undersized forward in the Walker/Fog mould.
We just can't help ourselves.
The usuals will explain away giving up our first rounder for petty by saying we’d have lost it on welsh.
Instead we should be packaging up and getting ahead of a bid for welsh.

Speed can also come from ball movement not only leg speed
Sure, but that relies on precision kicking skills to actually work.

It relies on players kicking the ball to advantage.

It relies on players being able to kick nicely weighted balls to other players so that they have monumentum and dont break stride.

Do we feel we have that capability?

I certainly don't think so.

As long as they don’t take half a day to decide, first thought first option

More bacon & egg, less salad rolls.

Lol, tell him he's dreaming.

If there’s anything Garry ‘home wrecker’ Lyon’s comments confirm, it’s that Petty is clearly on his way here. Or really wants to get here anyway. And Melb know it. Clear negotiation tactic. Clear delusion.

Gee, how I hope he's in the Walker mode!

Good to see Garry has a good sense of humor, because that's a hilarious trade

Confused Jim Carrey GIF

With Jackson Macrae on the outter at the Dogs, anyone think he would be a good fit for our mids?

Can see us being into Hayward and no doubt Graham will be linked again because that's what happens.

Wouldn't be opposed to approaching Nick Haynes to get some experience down back.

Will Hayward being a restricted free agent is great list management from the Swans again

Isaac Cumming as an unrestricted free agent is an obvious target

Ollie Florent and Harry Perryman are unrestricted free agents?
