Game Day Round 2: Port Adelaide vs Adelaide - Adelaide Oval

Port pace in support was key to this game. They killed us on the outside after their player, nearly always wanting it more, got the ball free to the support flashing by. Time and again we were left flat footed and chasing tails in close.

Review The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Good Eddie very dangerous but give him some fellas that can get the ball to ground and help keep it in the area..... Thomson, Sloane and Smith worked hard to get us back into the game Bad Worse game played by Danger. Seemed to be looking for the frees rather than just doing the work. A few...

Review Good,Bad and Ugly V North Melbourne

Good-kerridge,dougy, danger Bad-failure to kick goals from set shots in the fifty, unbelievably bad for so long and compared to Norfolk who rarely missed in the 50 Ugly-Jacobs consistently palming to the opposition....when he rarely got his hand on it.

    The Great, Good and Bad

At the game today, a rare treat while visiting from PNG. Sat at the Lockett end. The Great - silence and then team self abuse from carlon's own supporters. At one stage a bloke called out that the President of their cheer squad should be sacked for not doing his job well enough. The good - the...

    Good, Bad and Ugly

Good - Otten returning to his form of a couple of years ago. Poise and great defensive marks but impressive of all was his ability with the left handed spoils, on occasion getting the ball to ground and gathering again for a clearance. Bad/Good - The constant moves into the centre corridor...

Callinan - How good will he be?

Muzungu looked good also last night...where was his development by a major team over 5-6 years.

Callinan - How good will he be?

Generally I think that this is true, although Geelong and Freo last year might have disagreed with their selections:D I would prefer their half full approach to your half empty Carl. BTW, he is small isn't he:eek:

Callinan - How good will he be?

From other posters who have seen him play and train it sounds as if one of the benefits he will probably bring is his ball delivery. If he can get the ball and deliver it accurately within the 50m arc, we might be able to get away from the 'bomb it to Tippett' attitude and see the latter and Tex...

Unsociable Footy goes the way of the dinosaur

It is also not just about having a tough bloke or two on the field. It is important that the whole club projects a certain toughness from the top down, in how it deals with the AFL and other clubs. This has been represented in various ways over the years...Sheedy tying the wind sock down at...

CROWS Squad helps clean up in QLD

Thanks Jenny great work and well done boys. I have a personal experience of the Club in this way so I am not surprised. Dangerfield in International rules series

An interesting article bemoaning the skill drop in the Gaelic game....taken over by handball of all things. Complains that the Aussies better kicking skills in the Test was reflective of the poor kicking skills now endemic in the Irish game....doesn't sound that much different to the arguements...
