Thats right folks, there is no ugly tonight!

Easily our best win of the year. Up against it, haven't won in Melbourne for 15 games, No Tex.

Great:
Our contested footy and clearances. I'll say it again, this is THE reason we are playing so well
Danger- Make him an offer, then double it :thumbsu:
Thommo- quiet 1st quarter, then exploded
VB- Best game for the club!
Sloane- Still wanna boof him!
Our 2nd quarters- Last week 8 goals to 1, this week carlton goalless
Our scoring capacity with no Tex and no Tippo goals (until junk time)
Won as many games as last year, and its round 8
Who'd a thunk it being a % booster?

Good:
Callinan
Leroy
Vince- Valuable first half, not so prominant in the second
No 3rd quarter fade out
Truck!
We will play finals, and we will do damage if we continue to play like this. IF!

Bad:
Doughty's missed goal after the 50 could have been costly
Tippo's knee knock
Our defensive skills in 1 on 1 contests with our small defenders
Murphy injury
The 2 HTB decisions in the first half. One from Stiffy's tackle and then they got the goal and then the one where the player had a ton of time to kick it and Danger tackled him
Tippo's goal kicking is still god awful :(

But overall:

:thumbsu::D:D:D:D

Good

Winning $150
Bernard's 3 goals and David Mackays 2
Jerka run and dash and then goal, plus his round the corner goal.

Bad
Tex didn't play.

Ugly
That big dude in the crows shirt on the TV.

Great
Dangerfield's consistency on show with another dominant game! :thumbsu:
Our midfield group overall kicking the majority of our goals!
Talia and Rutten being rock-solid in our defence, was stellar!

Good
Tippet's continuity to keep presenting throughout 4 quarters.
Callinan providing much skill and composure to our fwd line, today and throughout the year.
Jenkins' 2nd game being as impactful as his 1st game, was tremendous with his two goals.

Bad
Not much I can think of, except for Petrenko being slightly quiet. Effort was there and nullified Yarran for first part of 3rd quarter, so happy regardless with his game besides low disposal count.
Smith with a handful of mistakes, but he'll learn. Also Doughty was coughing it up a bit...

His belt was in struggle town and yep, it was a dude. Even if he has bigger cans than my GF.

Great:

-Dangerfield, Thompson, Sloane
-Contested ball, clearances
-Making the most of our inside 50's (aside from a few poor set shots)

Good:

-Pretty much everyone else, Callinan, Jenkins, Vince, Tippett all contributed goals.
-Hendo. His pace really helped us today and he was accurate by foot. I didnt see as many of his usual clangers.

Bad:

-Carlton and Murphy's injury
-Smith, Porps still just hanging in there

The Great
Winning against a top 4 team on their home deck.
Our depth.
The evenness of of our team.
The return of Vince.
Dangerfield's and Thompson's AA form.

The Good
Mackay's best game of the year before injuring himself.
The improvement and development of the younger players.

The Bad
Mackay's injury
Umpiring in particular the holding the ball decisions or lack of.

At the game today, a rare treat while visiting from PNG. Sat at the Lockett end.

The Great - silence and then team self abuse from carlon's own supporters. At one stage a bloke called out that the President of their cheer squad should be sacked for not doing his job well enough.

The good - the cheering slabs of Crows supporters at the end of the game at the Coventry end....fantastic noise and support from a big number of fans.

The bad - it is a week until I sit on the wing and watch us go round against the Pies, probably my only other live game this year.

What a game! Dangerfield, hat's off to you mate, you're downright amazing. Showed Judd how to play football.

Good:
Pretty much everything!
Winning in Melbourne!

Bad:
Thought Smith was a bit up and down tonight. Did some good things, but missed a lot of tackles, was a bit sloppy in places. But whatever, kids will be up and down.

Ugly:
Umpiring in the first quarter. That 50 was softer than melted butter, and there were at HTB decisions galore that weren't called.

the Bad

Danger to get rubbed out.

Hit on AFL pin up boy : 25 points
In Victoria: 25 points
In a winning game: 25 points
a dominant non-Victorian player: 25 Points
Playing Collingwood next week: 125 points

QFT.
