It doesn't free up list spots, it just allows people on the rookie list to play senior games without having to wait for a long term injury to open a spot. North melbourne had that with Justin Perkins a few years ago when Archer was on the veterens list. It doesn't improve our drafting...

All of a sudden a trade is put forward that is pretty fair and equitable from both sides and no one comments on it. Clearly this scenario is one both sides would look into as an option. Maybe we should all go back to the Judd for Murphy, Gibbs, Fevola and pick 1 deals and argue over those.
