This sounds dreadful... yes I’ve been spanked by a wooden spoon! But this is awful definite no for raising children in this decade. Also To outright say I think she knows is a strong statement... Poor William. Glad any children in care where removed.

I have been considering this as well... the reporting scientists have come across intelligent, passionate and taking there job seriously. Wanting the best outcome for victims and the community. I’m not feeling this from the leadership.

Kurve not sure if you already have one, or if we’d be able to source affected cases until released, but is it worth having a QLD unsolved thread during that period to review cases ? Edit to add: we could review coroners reports from those periods.

Lots of not my job... which validates the scientists.. then questions why they where sidelined for bringing up suggestions and concerns.

Inappropriate... but hope the scientists are having a popcorn party. Finally they are being heard and acknowledged for their expertise and concerns. Albeit it at the expense of victims that have suffered the consequences of this major stuff up.

“Hindsight” is being thrown around a little too loosely...IMO.. scientists where jumping up and down waving flares - benefit of hindsight cannot be used as an excuse for all of this.

This wouldn’t fly in any work environment... unbelievable.
