VFL Past #65: Shaun McKernan 🐴 - Returns to the Dons

I agree that he probably should be delisted but the question is the same as when we he was selected in the rookie draft a few years ago. Is there a better third string Ruckman out there? He is kinda like the Moises Henriques of the Essendon list, can sort of ruck and can sort of play forward...

Team Mgmt. Laverde, Langford or Fantasia

I remember a similar thread was set up quiet some years ago with who would be the best player between Stanton, Dyson and Gus. 2 out of 3 would have been better than 1 out of 3! I'm hoping that it's 3 out of 3 this time. Toin Coss at the moment. Lav would have been the pick before the season...

    Team Mgmt. 2017 rucks – who’s number 1?

Luey for mine will be the number one man. As for if it's Belly, Hooker, Smack, Francis, Patton or Julian Kirzner plays the second KF, as long as they can make there opponent accountable and help Joey to be one out, I'm not to fused who plays there. Brown struggles in that role. I actually...

Recruiting EFC Trade/Draft Talk II with F/A rules in OP - Billings for a fourth rounder the latest rumour

That's fairly easy for Hardwick to say when in the last 6 years his clubs first round selections have been made of Martin, Conca, B and C Ellis, Vlastin and Lennon.

You don't rate Francis as a mid?

    Skippos's 2015 Draft Resource

Yep, fully agree with you. I don't even rate Gwilt. Performance wise you could easy delist Gwilt, Pears and Steinberg and not a single eye lid would be blinked.

    Skippos's 2015 Draft Resource

Talls are very limited. If Carlise leaves and Daniher, Hooker stays up forward then it leaves 4 key defenders all on the small side of things(Hurley, Pears, Steinberg and Gwilt).

Recruiting EFC Trade/Draft Talk II with F/A rules in OP - Billings for a fourth rounder the latest rumour

With a so called thin draft and the likes of Winders, Fletch and Chappy on the way out before any delisting or trades I'm hoping they can keep Kav on the list for next year.

Recruiting EFC Trade/Draft Talk II with F/A rules in OP - Billings for a fourth rounder the latest rumour

Something has to change following both Ryder and Beams leaving last year, mid contract and choosing where they went. They didn't even have to run the risk of going into the Pre-Season draft. I feel we did not get what Patty was worth on the face of things. Why shouldn't the club be able to...

Delisted #19: Shaun Edwards - Rookied by Sydney, now retired from AFL - 22/9

I'm just glad old George Washington didn't write that Edwards has a large nose like Pav or he walks oddly like Ross Lyon. We would have had more than just one Freo troll hitting this post! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

If he shanks them just as often as he delivers a beautiful bulletin pass wouldn't that make his kicking ordinary? Sometimes good, sometimes bad? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Sensational player. Ordinary kick. I think that this west coast supporter that posted this thread is a little harsh but he has some strong points. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/the-most-ignored-stat-in-the-afl-nathan-fyfes-disposal-efficiency.1017465/ Sent from my iPhone using...

Competitions Guess our National Draft picks

Without doing any calculation at all and just to confuse things, is there any chance that Jetta could be delisted and redrafted in the national draft to help use up the mandatory 3 picks in the ND? Only thinking this cause he is contracted for next year and they still need to possible cull one...

Competitions Guess our National Draft picks

Same as I thought too. Dodoro has already said that if they traded Gumby for pick 55, it would be a pick they probably wouldn't use so guessing they will go mature age at 55. Also guessing though they might go KPF or Ruck with one of there first two picks though. 26-Garlett 55-Brown Sent...

    Best 22 2014

The tackling beast went missing in the second part of the season. Was poor for mine. Would want to start the season well or he could very well be passed by others.

Looks great on paper. Expect Essendon had was towards the bottom end of contested ball in the league despite having the best player in the comp at getting the ball in close. Howlett had minimal impact in the second half of the year. Myers will hopefully be the player within the club to help or...

Opinion Who is our 3rd key forward?

As simple as it sounds but Crameri plays better when there is less attention on him. Seems to use his strengths best against smaller opponents.

Retired #19: David Hille - Three games short of 200.

Agreed. Should have had his M.C.G. papers stamped in the final against Carlton when Robbie Warnock put him to the sword... Probably could stake claim to being the best 3rd string ruckman in the league though.

Traded #12: Stewart Crameri - Traded to Footscray for pick 26

He played a majority of his career at Bendigo across half back. Wasn't to far of.

Traded #32: Travis Colyer - traded to Freo for future 4th rounder

Myers, who has been too big for someone who has been injury plagued and looking to play midfield looked a lot more in portion to an afl midfielder on Friday night. Lets hope the other two are following..

Traded #32: Travis Colyer - traded to Freo for future 4th rounder

That was an issue with Stanton early in his career not taking time to compose himself before kicking. Hopefully Coyler can over come it... Is it just me or does anyone else think that Coyler put to much weight on over last pre season for a player that generally plays as a outside ball winner?

    Position 2013 SC Defenders

Keep hearing the names Colquhoun, Pittard and Stevenson from Port. Any Port supporters have any word on Campbell Heath? Was said to be a very talent junior. Requested a trade to Port for opportunity and to play with mate John Butcher.

Very strong side, balanced side for mine. A slight tweaking of the rookies after the nab cup and possibly POD in the ruck might have you a winner.

    Position 2013 SC Rucks

Thanks for your answer. Time for plan B then!! I thought that he might be slightly ahead of West due to his ability to go play 2 different roles in the side..
