If Maric ends up being traded, Sellar delisted and considering Moran has retired, I wouldn't rule out getting Griff to come back as a back-up. Otherwise, Craig would be our only back up in the event that one of Jacobs/Tippett go down (or both :eek:).

Exactly. Tony is such a great kick, but some of those sideways kicks in to the middle were downright cringeworthy. Against better teams he could have cost us a few goals.

If I recall correctly, I think Roo mentioned during the 1st quarter that Tex and Craigy didn't have a great relationship.

I think the only change should be Tippett in for Maric. IMO there is nothing to be gained in bringing in Rutten/Douglas/MacKay. For the sake of list management, we should be using the next few games as an opportunity to get a good extended look at fringe players so we have enough information...

Personally I would like to see either Armstrong or Jaensch develop in to outside midfielders.

Impression I got was that Craigy wanted Tex to play a few more games for norwood to regain match fitness. Yes, Tex could have/should have provided more contests, but I also think the quality of delivery is a contributing factor to our F50 entries. Never said you could build a forward line...

Fair call Pete. If Tippo can get back on the park this year, I'd be very interested to see whether our forward entries are different to the last 2 weeks.

I knew Craigy was stubborn, but not to that extent... It's one thing not to listen to an assistant's point of view, but to threaten them or remove them for disagreeing with you is just plain childish. Particularly when in retrospect, both assistants would seem to be in the right.

Reilly really frustates me, I get that we need some bigger experienced bodies to support the youngens, but his consistent brain faids make me want to throttle him. I felt like piffing my stubbie at the TV when he tried that fend off in the last quarter. That was pure idiocy. :mad:
