Playing at Marby to play with his brother and Marby has been his feeder club for 4 years.
Sporting pulse tells me he has played predominantly senior footy for the past three years (has had injuries past two) so i would say he will be a very handy addition to Marby's side.
The ground would be better if the council didn't stipulate that all local school football be played on it every day of the week during winter!! Would be interesting to see how the rest of the competitions grounds would cope with such traffic...
Blame the council for that Cow Paddock as they approve the use of it to play two games of school footy on it nearly every day of the week through a majority of winter... Would like to see how your oval would cope with such traffic??
As for Galea, from my vantage point, he was trying to be a...
I have friends that play for Marby and watch them regularly and my take on them is:
Marby are a young team so struggle for consistency at times. Castello was quoted as saying the average age was 22?
Yes like all teams they were hit hard by injuries from after round 1 until the bye but now...
I think that's very unfair - He works for a major company undergoing continued change in a very senior position. 80 hour weeks take its toll and something has to give....
Million dollar question:
They have beaten the grand finalists from last year so the ability is there, they have lost two very winnable games against Strathmore and West Coburg where they performed below par.
If they can prevail in these close ones and keep their full list on the park i think...

2) Why cant Sam choose to play with his brother at Marby?
3) Why should Sam dwell in a lower grade of footy when he is capable of playing higher?
4) Maybe...
Unfortunately key injuries have hit already and the team has also lost Ryan to Coburg which will expose the depth players, time will tell if they can step up.
As with any team if they are at full strength they can match it with most...
Doesn't mean much with Marby missing 10-12 senior players through injury and finishing with two on the bench...
Keilor are a long long way from being competitive with the big boys
Firstly I have no connection with either club
I was in Echuca for the long weekend and went and watched this game.
There were players wrestling (after beattie started the scuffle) and Beattie came off second best...
No player ran 70-100 meters to king hit him...
I might be late on this but Beatie was wearing a higher number and was the one starting all the scuffles, he was the one trying to intimidate people and act "tough" in my eyes he took on one too many people and ended up being on wrong side of his over the top aggression.
And to be honest he...
Don't usually watch much EDFL but was walking around the Marby River on sat and stopped to watch two quarters of the Marby game. If Jake Reeves was the Marby ruckman then he far from stunk it up, in fact he was the dominant ruckman all day. As for the standard it was quite good and was very...
