The lack of Slash was telling on Sunday. The NIN reject with the beard was really quite atrocious. I enjoyed the show, and it was great to finally see Axl, but I definitely didn't see Guns N' Roses.

Both those songs are completely ordinary. Nearly everything from Contraband is better. Like I say, it's pretty clear why the album isn't going to be released and why Axl is still playing AFD tunes at his shows ... the new stuff just isn't that good. And how about these ticket prices, btw...

Izzy wrote at least half of AFD. The only GnR album worth a damn. And Duff wrote It's So Easy, their best song. Anyway, I'm still going.

Big fan of the Deleo's, but I just found this album to be really bland. Richard Patrick does nothin' for me. Contraband had a lot more energy and spark, imo.
