I’m glad you didn’t boo him
Yes it's not his fault he gets selected. For years I have been tearing my hair watching him miss very easy goals.
He was drafted as a running defender but was put forward as a a manic forward type.
I just think his misses have a demoralising effect on the team.
I rarely see him pass it off. You would like to think he would understand his limitations and would try and pass it off every time but he doesn't seem to get it.

How good Cumberland, Sonsie and MRJ!! To think we persevered with G and Aarts for so long
Incredibly frustrating seeing them gifted games and it costing us wins early in the season.
I reckon weight of numbers at the selection table resulted in the change. Unfortunately Dimma can’t quite let go and we see him still popping up as medical sub. Hopefully that changes when we play Stack, Banks etc and workout they’re a better fit.
The wheel turns slowly

Nah, if you listen to the Dimma-ites and mates on here, they'd have you believe he did this all strategically. He deliberately kept Cumberland and Sonsie out to have them peaking
All I know is pissing Aarts, Soldo, Edwards and Castagna and the like off earlier would have seen us in the top four likely.

We are close to getting it right, nearly there, but omg it was frustrating the crap out of me earlier in the season and yes agree cost us games.

George supporters think it’s personal but for me it’s never been about that, it’s about Winning games and developing young talent.

They can support George all they want but wondering if they consider the players that aren’t playing because he’s been gifted games. How fair is that on those guys! Could be the difference between making it or being delisted

I still don't believe Aarts and George directly cost us those games. Poor leadership and coaching especially cost us those games. It's like saying Cumberland directly cost us the Freo game, or Tarrant the Geelong game.

The Saints game sticks out to me as the one where Dimma was completely and utterly out coached and in hindsight should have been the catalyst to solve our bullshit. The Swans game is similar, can't be losing that from where we were.

The Gold Coast and North games are on the playing group as a whole, 150%.

We are where we are now - I still have faith in Dimma and the MC - yes we are better off with Cumbo, MRJ and Miller playing the roles they are now. Certainly has a 2017 feel about the squad right now. Remember the Freo/Mundy after the siren loss? Almost a replay of the Cats game this year. Let's hope we've got it right now!

What you talking about? There were direct plays where aarts and castanga cost us the gc and north games. Cost us a top 4 shot easily.

Exactly.
Sad but funny thing is, given the same scenario in a different game, the result would be 100% the same.
They'd both botch it again.
The evidence across God knows how many games is overwhelming.
Only our boy George could manage this ...

A Richmond supporter booing any of their players is not on.

Was there the day they booed Bartlett as coach. Sad.
And the day the fans booed Honeybun and then cheered as he was taken from the ground early in one game, only to give him a standing ovation at the end after he returned to the ground and produced a best on ground effort.

Of course there’s more than 1 reason or 1 player that cost us games, and of course every player makes mistakes but those same players that make mistakes are the reason we are in the game in the first place.

Can you honestly, hand on your heart say Castagna or Aarts have put us in a game? They’ve been momentum killers all year. Geez George’s own teammates were laughing at him last week when a banana kick from 15m out went the wrong way

Cool. So Cumberland and Tarrant should never play for us again either. In fact let's cut every player that's cost us in a tight game.

Remember when Cotchin sat out the last 2 min against the GC and campaigner kicked the goal after the siren? Should have been delisted immediately after that game.
