I mean he’s right in that he has room for improvement in that part of the game along with a few other things, but many players in the competition do. Probably most players do. I don’t see Oliver or Wines being hounded about their kicking like Taranto is, so I think it’s one of those things where Cornes just rates his point of view more than he rates other viewpoints. Otherwise he would have listened to what others have to say as well.

One player's from Port the other plays for a minnow. Ie ones a protected species in the eyes of Corns and the other plays for a team that doesn't generate public interest. The likes of Corns and Barrot will always focus the heat on players from Richmond and Pies and to a lesser extent Blues and Dons. It's all about Melbourne media.

If Taranto didnt have his flaws (kicking) there is no way we would have got him for picks #14 + #21
A player that gets 30 touches a game and has so many tackles and clearances would be demanding a top 5 pick atleast and command a salary of $1 million a year

He is not kicking any worse than he has throughout his career and still went pick #2 and if he was a free agent he would have received offers close to the $1 mil range . Polec $750k Williams $850k McGovern $800k Shiel $800k Treloar $800k etc etc

David King makes more sense than Kane Cornes. David King, on AFL360 tonight, brought up turnovers from kick outs including Richmond not so good where the numbers where not in our favour. Fair enough, I noticed it myself in some of the games where the numbers where not in our favour

Last time I checked we are here to play football and win premierships meaning kicking a higher score than our opposition. We are not here to contort to Kane Cornes whims.

If messy football helps our players win a premiership why should I care?? If we look a little loosey goosey Kane Cornes is just going to have to live with that because, last time I checked, the RFC does not work for Kane Cornes.

Taranto seems to kick the ball better than McKay of Carlton for goal at the moment, that is all I will say as far as kick effectiveness

Richmond does not have a team of Chris Judds, so how can we win a premiership playing like Chris Judd?? If Kane Cornes wants his idea of photogenic he should role up to a pageant, we are here to win football games and premeriships.

Maybe Jane Cornes should grab a soccer ball and watch Pep Guardiola matches

This is my point exactly about the media and their booing crusade. If they are up in arms about supporters booing then they can't be personally attacking players. If Cornes doesnt like people booing because it is harassment then how can he justify his crusade?

Absolute garbage. Sure his disposal could be better, we can't be there only ones that see he's under constant pressure when kicking?
I'd say he's been well worth the trade for how he's tracking at the moment. I have no issues with how hes playing. I'd rather the ball in his hands than his direct opponent.

Also, with our chaos pressure game plan, whos to say that his inefficient kick forward to an oppo player isn't then tackled/turned over back to us?
I often wonder if this affects our disposal efficiency often? During our premiership years there would have been huge numbers of hack kicks forward, oppo players gain possession only for us to win it back again via the next direct play and score.
