He's worse than J-O-N by a mile. Has been in Magoo's and been worse in seniors. As I've repeatedly said he should be banished to Magoo's remainder of season and a club appointed trainer should check on him during off season and failure to hit benchmarks he's banished to Magoo's til the bye with being delisted the next step. He's not ever below average in the Magoo's ATM.

Coulthard has him covered by the length of the Flemington straight after his 1st game. HTF does a so called fwd keep missing goals from 10-20m out?

Maurice has his good points unfortunately he probably had an easier passage to AFL of who he is than others and I know that he copped some resentment for that from parents whi thought there kid was better. Maybe that has made him a little complacent but it's not the kids fault. Cumberland is a better player

He's not the only one, there is a couple on each list that are similar to him but the excuse of Speed is used to justify playing him

Needs to be dropped and to find actual form before returning, not just handed games. The same thing killed George's career, he never had the chance to go back and work on deficiencies and actually improve. Just got thrown to the lions every week and suffered catastrophic confidence loss.

Fmd the kid is 20 years of age. He has played 20 odd games. He has already got a bit of a party trick highlight reel. He plays an extremely difficult and selfless role in the team, well enough in 2022 to lead the competition in scores from turnovers created. He has slotted goals from 50m so he can kick a decent distance when he has to. He kicked a great goal in the final last year, and has scored about 18.12 across his career.

He is still building a tank and had a bit of an interrupted prep this term. We have seen before our small forwards foot skills can suffer as a result of endless chasing to apply pressure.

Stop being a pair of bottom feeders. The kid has loads of potential, and has already made important contributions.

You need to support a supercoach team.

It must suck backing losing horses all the time and watching other guys pot the prom queen. I've had you on block for ages so dunno why I'm bothered responding. I see you tried defending him again after the game when I clearly critiqued his performances THIS year by quoting last year. Tribalism went out eons ago it's not very progressive. People can critique things Richmond related ya know.

Especially with guys like Ross, Clarke and Mansell who have all been subbed and dropped going back to the vfl or responding to the disappointment of being dropped the week before it’s an easy selection to make for the the coaches

He wasn't seen as afl quality by other clubs before he was drafted so no real surprise how he's going. Needs an extended spell innthe reserves.

I wouldn't be writing him off just yet though.

Any coach with half a brain knows to always protect your players in a press conference, the fact that you don't know that says a lot more about you.

I low key didn't mind it. Not ideal but it shows he cares. Players who underperform and show no care are a bigger worry.

FWIW I feel sorry for him but he hasn't shown enough thus far. I would imagine Daniel Rioli would be wrapping his arms around him right now.

Selfless hey. My God. He needs to own his performances and tantrums. Do not want any of that shit near the playing group let alone rewarded, especially because you feel some supporters are apparently to blame and are 'bottom feeders' for literally observing the ecidence amd are calling it out
