You know what gets me with the Lynch comments about him not earning a premiership with us?

The guy was coming off a PCL injury, not as bad as an ACL but still a decent injury, he played 25 freaking games off a PCL injury, he was our lead goal scorer in a premiership year, he was kicking goals when he was playing a lone hand in the forward line in the first half of the year, at least half of his goals last year came in the second half of the year and was a huge part of the reason we didn’t lose at all after the bye, he came top 5 in our b & f in a premiership year which was his first year at Richmond, he kicked 30 points in a 40 point turnaround in the preliminary final to get us into the grand final, he kept GWS second defender busy while Jack was kicking 5 goals in the grand final! The guy more than did his dues and he more than earns that’s premiership! Opposition supporters are assholes!

the colour is GREEN, Lynch deserved every bit the win. More so than some whos form coasted through the year.

The hypocrisy within the football community is astounding. I just saw a promotional video advocating against online abuse, hate and discrimination on the AFL facebook page. And you can bet your bottom dollar that the comments on it called out "golden boy coach and player who believe sniping is ok". These people are so blinded by their hatred for us that they can't even recognise they are the ones that the AFL is calling out.

Great summary but we don't need to justify anything, no one is laughing at Richmond anymore, instead they need to find cracks now as there's nothing like seeing giants fall. Australians have been great at this for generations aka tall poppy.

There's such a thing as a proportionate response. Schwarz called Lynch 'Goose of the year' and 'not tough' for hitting Sam Collins. Hardwich used the oldest toxic masculinity trick in the book by taunting a guy for showing emotion. I don't think seeing his dad get murdered at the age of eight was really Schwarz's decision, was it?

From the outside looking in, Hardwick was more than welcome to call Schwarz whatever he liked. A sh*t broadcaster, an overrated player, soft, whatever - but he went the low road.
