Late goal burst to gloss over the loss
We do like to run and carry and go in but I've always felt we have the worst skills compared to other teams. Continually hand ball to no one. Cant hit 10-15 meter targets.

Sheerin is the only player that was consistent over 4 quarters. Poor Mon, didn't have a great game. Probably her worst game for a long time & its not that she wasn't trying, she was just pressured the whole game with not many there to stand up. Libby Graham is becoming a liability & apart from Greiser's last 5 minutes, our forward line looked incapable of scoring.
Greiser invisible all day and bobs up with 3 goals in the last 5 mins of the game. Needs to be doing that when the game is hot.
Kicking those 3 goals added about 8.5% as we were down to 143%

Still have some areas we desperately need to grow in with this list. Our ball security is still a problem. We were massively out hustled today, 2nd to the ball more often than not, which does contribute the free kick imbalance. We just have to learn to get lower if we want that to balance up - that said it was a bit lazy by umpires at times -their position to call frees is awful sometimes - their technique was bad today.
Melbourne showed us how important delivering to advantage can mean in a contested game. We don't seem to do this enough yet - satisfied with getting near our teammate, rather than advantage side. Work to be done.

Last 10 minutes the handcuffs come off and we start smashing them hmmm. Honestly won’t read a whole lot into this loss. Melbourne fielded their best side for the year, Brennan off early, umps earned their bonuses and we still had more scoring shots. Gonna hurt to rewatch but I feel like there were plenty of positives.
