Find these on-field interviews really jarring for some reason.

not quite sellout but i remember seeing 60ish thousand at the g for the bigger tri series games. even that would've been 20+ years ago, mind you. bit of googling tells me that the tri series final 2004 aus v india only drew 44k.First match of the series at the 'G would have been close to a sell out 10-20 years ago.
Look at the crowd.
**** it's sad how things have gone downhill with ODI's. First match of the series at the 'G would have been close to a sell out 10-20 years ago.
Remember the hype when the old Cricket ads came on?
The days of beer snakes and the Mexican wave are over
They draw Pakistani expats. If not for them it would be a dire crowd in today. It’s a Monday what did CA expect plus Pakistan hardly draw cards
No they are not, they have just moved to T20, Big Bash in particular (well, not beer snakes, they crack down on those). The days of beer snakes and the Mexican wave are over
The 5 people that rock up for work in the city will come inIt’s a Monday what did CA expect plus Pakistan hardly draw cards

Babar boundary = huge roar
Zampa wicket = smattering of applause from the members
T20 doesn't have that interest either now, and is a long way from where it was 10 years ago in Australia. No they are not, they have just moved to T20, Big Bash in particular (well, not beer snakes, they crack down on those).
It's an interesting conundrum, the rise of T20 led to a decline in interest in ODIs, but CA putting the game on a Monday working day suggests they are not even interested in attracting a big crowd anymore. Also, yes, there was a time when cricket was the dominant summer sport but the global expansion of other sports means it's a much more competitive field now. My gut feel is ODIs time is limited, people just aren't willing to dedicate eight hours to one game any more. Tests fill that gap of people interested in a longer contest.
It's odd having an ODI series starting on a Monday.
I can't imagine that there will be much of a crowd there for it, most people probably wouldn't even know this game is on today.
They're overrated tbhRizwan not interested in runs.
does Zampa try to be unlikeable or does it just come naturally.
This post simply couldn't be beezier, beez!10 words in and Warner has already used literally incorrectly.
I'll give him a pass on the pronunciation of Australia.
