On Hale - I can't remember a player so finished and ready for retirement at Hawthorn since Kelvin Moore limped to 300 games in 1984.
He has offered minimal touches, no prescence and no defensive pressure since mid season. Has gotten worse each match.
Ceglar should play if ready.
If Gunston is fit would bring him in for Shoe, put Langford in and make Suckers the sub.
We need grunt this week.
Billy to win the Norm Goss Medal then back in contention for the GF.

Good news for the guys who don't make the team this week is that they will be playing on Saturday in the VFL GF. So they will be match fit and raring to go knowing full well that BB, Roili and Simkin all came in through Box Hill in the last 2 years to claim medallions.

Hale's versatility as a legitimate forward option should be utilised to the fullest. Even if he doesn't hit the scoreboard, he still provides an option. Freo's defense would be stretched to breaking point between Roughy, Hale, Gunners/Schoey (and maybe BB if he decides to).
