Its pretty funny how Mitchell is meant to fear Crowley.

Yes, granted he shut him down in the 2013 GF but that was definitely the exception not the rule.

Mitchell laid 36 & 24 possession games on him last year which were more in line with how that battle has played out over the years.

Any fellow Hawks fans gonna be in Thailand (phuket) over the weekend by any chance?

Don't wanna be stuck in a bar by myself or even worse, with a bunch of Freo supporters.

I am reasonably confident that we were jolted out of that BS patchy form against the Eagles and will put in a good effort on Friday, but beating Freo at that crappy stadium is going to take a special effort. Freo are not going to roll over and die, and our game plan is not suited to Subiaco at all, so I don't expect anything but a grind. I really hope we can blow them away early, because the longer they hang around, the more the crowd will come into play, and that is where it will get tricky.

Disagree Fremantle are pretty poor finishers I think if its level after 3 we will get them.

Just tell your friends and family you are busy now.

Won't they notice your missing? :)

NO way I could be so arrogant as to book flights to Melbourne for the GF months in advance, so the "visit family and friends" was cover ;):D but they all know Hawks and GF come first. At worst, I see family and friends; at best, I go to the 'G, watch us 3peat and then see I see family and friends.
But it's better to book in advance than wait for a certain GF berth, price wise.

INteresting.. I'm of the opposite opinion. They'll have the fresher legs to run over us in the last, in theory, so I'd like the game out of reach at 3/4 time.

That could be the case but we all thought that vs Port last year and they came home with a wet sail despite us being well rested and them playing in Perth 7 days earlier.

Mmmm fresh legs from little game time.
I'll take game time everyday. Thats why they train so much.

True. But I'd still rather we face a 90% Fyfe than a 100% Fyfe.
We cooked him at Aurora earlier in the year.
Really good players play well anywhere. Lets see what he is really made of.
Nothing to fear here.

Subi is going to be so feral, dockers have far more genuine footy fans than the theatre type crowd that the eagles attract. It will be intimidating but at least our boys know what to expect. Getting nervous already :(

Winning a big interstate final is the only thing missing from this groups CV.
