That could be the case but we all thought that vs Port last year and they came home with a wet sail despite us being well rested and them playing in Perth 7 days earlier.

Mmmm fresh legs from little game time.
I'll take game time everyday. Thats why they train so much.

Both similar valid points. I hope you're both correct. I actually expect you will be, but I'm keeping open the chance of disappointment so as to avoid being stoned by a loss.

INteresting.. I'm of the opposite opinion. They'll have the fresher legs to run over us in the last, in theory, so I'd like the game out of reach at 3/4 time.

Fremantle exhaust themselves so much for so little reward its ridiculous in its way

Check out all their games this season...they are the fadeout specialists

If we are within 2 goals in the last (even with our extra games) its game on

Hodge is a different beast to our other inside mids. Burgoyne is brilliant at streaming away from stoppages, Sammy is a brilliant step away from the stoppages and Lewis seems all over the place this year. To me, Hodgey is the one with actual muscle and does breakaway from stoppages for the first few meters quite well. He tackles stick and hurt so for me, we have looked our best with him in the guts this year!! Would love to see hodge and burgs in the guts from the start. Our forwards have to be manic and don't let them breathe!! Block the corridor as Freo like to use that area of the ground to good effect. We need to score heavily imo...and early.

The biggest myth in footy is Ross is a good coach.. He'll get found out again this Friday, it's the same of same old with Ross and his sides, he is the most one dimensional coach in the league.

One corner we have a master inervater and in the other corner we have one dimensional Dazza... The advantage in our coaches box is huge, for starters Sumich wouldnt get a gig coaching the BHH developmrnt side and he's Ross's right hand man.

Hawks by 17

squiggle seems to say they aren't even as defensive as they were early in the year

The start is absolutely critical in this game.

Coming into the 2013 Grand Final my theory was - if the hawks get a 4 goal lead Freo won't be able to overcome it. They just don't have the scoring power.

The same goes for now. If we can get an early lead it will put us on top of the crowd and I think that Freo will really struggle to come back. There complete lack of forward options is a glaring weakness.

If this is turned into an arm wrestle I am definitely not as confident.

We win by 13, against Freo.
WCE win by 27, against North.
We win the GF by 14
Out of interest, what did the squiggle have us winning by in the 2014 Grand Final?

I'd suggest that ol' squiggleroo is as embarassed as HawkEye was in trying to predict some of Warnie's best!

(see you at the VIC this Friday, mate?)

My thoughts exactly.
