agreed, but the question was who is the next best leg spinner. Pope has the same number of Shield wickets as Swepson (inclusive of the game in progress. Pope not playing in the current match vs WA) with 12. Tanveer has 9 (at 66 rpo)

A gamble but I’ll say Tanveer Sangha and it’s based Off nothing but a gut feel people forget how good he was a couple of years back. Either option let’s be real here Lyon and Murphy will be the spinners for the next 2-3 years, and you might have a Kuhermann go to the sub continent where you need a SLA

With respect KHB, an Aussie U19 side cleaned up the Poms in the Junior Ashes both here and in England in the past 12 months. Am confident a combo of those two sides could knock off India too at home and over there in the coming decade or two. A good percentage of those cricketers have already made rookie status for their state and have played 2nd X1. Two Sam Konstas and Tom Straker have even debuted in shield. So all these kids are seen as possessing hi promise.
You must take a look at one of those Youth Tests to see for yourself the next gen talent we are producing. I guarantee you'll be as excited as I am.

Other names to watch out for are Mahli Beardman, Charlie Anderson, Callum Vidler, Josh Vernon, Tom Callanan, (pace bowlers).

Liam Blackford, Harry Dixon, Hugh Weibgen, Ethan Jamieson, Harjas Singh, Joel Davies.(Bats)

Raf MacMillan
, Harkirat Bajwa, Cameron Frendo. (spin bowlers)

(
w/k) Lachlan Aitken, Ryan Hicks.

nothing wrong with that. either it works or it doesn't. :)

Pope needs a batting lineup which makes runs. A far better bowler with runs in the bank so he can apply pressure. When the batting fails, Pope isn't going to be much help.

I stayed on Border Patrol instead of flicking back to the main channel this Iranian guy is sweating buckets and said he's been poisoned I have to stay on 7mate until this is resolved.
better keep us in the loop of the resolution. sounds more exciting than the Oz bowling effort.

NSW played zampa instead of Tanveer today.

Zampa is a great white ball player but hes nowhere in the long form

Means nothing, really.

The West Indies and Bangladesh have won age group world cups within the last little while. It’s meant absolutely nothing because it’s how you develop those players once they filter into senior competition that determines what comes of those players. All those competitions prove is which nations at any given time have managed to assemble the most naturally talented group of 12-13 players with a little bit of polish up until that point

Keen to hear how he goes.
