Watching Pant pull off ridiculous shots like that makes you think that Maxwell should've played more red ball cricket. Rarely played Shield after around 2017 because he was always selected for white ball tours/series.Pant...so good.
No more than India's.Trouble here for Australia- our batting lineup is fragile
Can't imagine. I began watching and learning cricket in the mid-1960s and the sweep was a legitimate cricket shot back then.I wonder what cricket purists thought the first time someone played a sweep shot back in the day?
Muffed reviews and dropped catch definitely seems to have taken the sting out of us. Cummins should have stayed in bed judging by his day so farWe have let the pressure off big time

Guessing of course but I suspect it would have been similar to the reaction of purists now to reverse sweeps, ramps, switch hits etcCan't imagine. I began watching and learning cricket in the mid-1960s and the sweep was a legitimate cricket shot back then.
I've mentioned this before on here but supposedly Ryan Campbell invented that shot spontaneously because he was trying to hit Darren Berry in the faceI can still remember when Ryan Campbell played one of the first ramp shots, now ramp shots are just a regulation cricket shot.
Bowling Lyon big error too, let them off the hook so farMuffed reviews and dropped catch definitely seems to have taken the sting out of us. Cummins should have stayed in bed judging by his day so far
Good tactics from IndiaBowling Lyon big error too, let them off the hook so far
You can't just keep the pace bowlers going all day. Plus the over rate is horrific as it isBowling Lyon big error too, let them off the hook so far
I think it's just a new ball deck, and you've got to play conservatively to the first 30 odd overs while the ball's hard and getting a little extra bounce. Wait for the bad ball or the short one, and don't go chasing wide shit on the front foot.Need the tail to wag just long enough for the pitch to settle down
First person I saw do that type of thing is a mate who's genuinely ambidextrous, and he was mucking about with changing stance and swapping his hands playing indoor in the early 90s.I can still remember when Ryan Campbell played one of the first ramp shots, now ramp shots are just a regulation cricket shot.
Big error not reviewing
They're 6 down
Surely we would think we're not needing to save the review for later
Burning a review there is no biggie
