The duality of bigfooty cricket will be on full show in the Kiwi second innings.

Lyon takes wickets: He's the šŸ All hail Gazza

Lyon doesn't take wickets: He's always been a dud when the team needed him in the 4th innings, career surely soon over.

Both of these scenarios can play out for different periods in the same innings, too.

Come on bigfooty cricket, don't let me down šŸ‘

There was Hazlewood at lunch thinking he can put his feet up until tomorrow. An hour later he's out there with the pads on.
I reckon we would have always bowled as some stage today. Even if we batted well, could have seen us declaring an hour before stumps.

Given the spin on offer, he would have choked.

Can you get out bowled or LBW from a WIDE? :D :winkv1:

Lyon's gonna turn the ball so far that he'll have to land the ball a metre outside off to hit it :sneaky:.
Cummins should open with Lyon and bowl him until they're out, for not many.
Gotta be a chance to get 10-for.

Pretty piss poor effort from us there, NZ very good today though apart from some comical drops late.

Reckon it's 200 too many for NZ though, just can't see it unless Kane and Mitchell go really big.

Is he though? His FC average is no better.
and ?? Inglis hasn't played FC cricket in ages due to him being our premier keeper in the white ball format

its obvious that carey is in pathetic form with the bat and we have seen a body of work with that in the test format

if you want that to continue ..fine...I would rather see a keeper score runs when we need it and atm I would back inglis over carey

Carey has next test to make a significant contribution with the bat otherwise he is under thepump for next year

simple as that
