This trade looked promising but it was only promising because we bugger all depth in key tall forwards. Kozi sucks so bad it's not even a joke. He touches the ball with his hands but can't grab it. Doesn't offer us anything down the line on the wing like Lynch does as the relieving mark, doesn't offer us anything in the forward line, hardly a presence when he goes into the ruck. No wonder Dusty had to play a lot more forward. I look at the Dogs' tall forwards and i'm so jealous. I mean Jamarra took a one handed mark and Kozi can't even take a mark with 2 hands. The problem is Samson is weak as piss and gives up at the drop of a hat when he's in the ruck and gets manhandled by key defenders. Lets put the Crayfish in. Honestly Vickery should put the boots back on

It was a bullshit trade and only more evidence of the poor list managers in our club. I was giggling how nearly every poster had him best 22. I thought thought initially they were picking our VFL side.

Yes it was excessive. But check out Hawthorn board, up until Saturday he had exceeded their expectations and in their opinion had played some extremely good football. Although in fairness Koschitzke has also exceeded the expectations of many here as well. He is even more crap than they thought he would be.

Many failed forwards have gone on to salvage themselves as defenders however so I agree we should trial him there because we have nothing to lose. If that worked it would allow us to entertain trialling Gibcus as a KPF on his return.

Chol has skill but destroys structure/teams with his lazy soft attitude. Comparing that to someone who doesn’t seem up to it is a waste of a debate.

Darcy Moore, Liam Jones, Esava Ratugolea, Patty McCartin, Jack Lukosious, Jeremy Howe, Josh Battle, there's plenty more if I gave it more than a minute of thought over the years, so it's not unprecedented.

Kosi doesn't look slow to me, and he also looks like someone who tries pretty hard and is willing to work, so I reckon he could physically keep up with the forwards and be willing to give it 100% which might be half the battle.

Much easier giving him a clear directive of follow this guy and bring the ball to ground and try and crash every pack when the high ball comes in and just start from there, keeping it simple.

3 years is a laugh too. Who else was competing for him? No one, the Hawks didn't even want him.
Could have easily got him across on a 1 year prove it deal or 2 year deal at worst.

It's a fact.

Hawks gave up a 2nd round pick for Chol and he's probably on twice as much coin and for 4 years. We gave up a late 3rd that we wouldn't have even used. Not sure either club are 'happy'.

He was never recruited to be the #1 forward taking the #1 key defender and being double teamed every week. He was meant to be the 2nd/3rd tall. Some of the carry on by people makes it sounds like he was meant to be Tom Lynch mk2.

Chol would have been alot better than Kosi from what we have seen so far from Kosi
