Smooth moving HB/Midfield type that uses the ball pretty well. Bottom-aged, so I wouldn't expect alot from him next year. Think getting on an AFL list, in a professional environment will do the world of good for him.

I know a couple of posters are keen on taking part in a Rookie Draft after the ND is done and the plan for that one would hopefully be to arrange a time for 16 posters (the 16 who took part in this to be given first priority) to be online at the same time so we can get it done in one night.

I will be in touch with everyone about that. I will also be completing my write ups on Bryn Weadon and Ben Speight in the coming days.

He doesnt have to be training with them to be fully fit, and hes been back in melbourne for about 6 weeks now. If he isnt picked up as a rookie at carlton then i think he will be rookied at another club, who that will be im not sure

I guess this is a good year for someone like him to be given a second chance, as all clubs are going to be reaching deep with later picks and there's always the added rookies to the rookie list.

I don't want to wreck this thread, but why pick Benjamin ahead of someone who wants to play football?

If Benjamin wouldn't commit to playing AFL football with Judd as his Captain, why would another club use a pick on him?

Clayton Collard really turned it around after being selected in the rookie draft ahead of Woneamirri and Stokes.

You might as well give Angwin another go.

I wasn't talking about his fitness, merely the fact that he hasn't even been given a chance to impress the coaching staff to be drafted again ala Lachie Hill and Sam Jacobs.

Interesting to see only one player in the VFL in Casey Scorpions key defender Alex. Silvagni was picked. You would think that the VFL the second best competition in the land would produce more draft prospects seeing most of the TAC footballers were nominated the previous year and would have developed this year.

Doesn't work like that mate. Taylor Walker made All-Australian last year and he was the last pick in the draft, also Aaron Joseph was selected All-Australian and he was rookied.

Obviously helps as most selected last year went pretty high in the draft but it doesn't always eventuate.

You're right that it doesn't always work like that, and personally I think Klemke will be a later selection. Taylor Walker was a NSW Scholarship Player though, which is why he was selected last.

I didn't know Veszpremi was AA as a 17 year old.

Plus Craig Bird who could end up a bargain for the Swans.

What will it take to get Veszpremi from Sydney when he's out of contract?

The Swan would be a game breaker playing for the Blues at Etihad Stadium.
