Would it be wrong to assume that Krak could actually be dropped from the Port team this week after 2 consecutive weeks of putrid performances? If he does get dropped it might accelerate the decision on whether or not to trade him for a few coaches.

Krak > Sidebottom
Hill> Broughton.

Next week:
Otten > Swan
Walker > around 390k FWD.

Hopefully it works out, if Swan scores poorly again this week may need to hold off. Another worry is Raines, need him to lift his scoring this week as well as his security.

Why would you hold off if he scores badly again?? That'd be the perfect time to get him! His BE for next week is 153, so he'll probably drop to around $415k. Unless he's injured again I wouldn't really think he'd drop down too much further - he's capable of pulling out 130s as he's already shown. Currently averaging 108.8, and the Pies haven't got a bad run of teams coming up soon. Next week or never I'd say!

I'm trying to toss up what to do myself. Got 3 players I want to get rid of: Petrenko, Hill and Walker.

Petrenko/Hill > Grimes (hopefully as a keeper)

and

Walker > Sidebottom (either as a cow, or as long-term bench cover for the rest of the season)

Any thoughts? I probably don't need to do the Sidey trade, but I can't help but want to jump on before the price change. Then next week Rich > $400-420k mid.

or

Presently i have cheney and broughton as 6th and 7th back as hodge is out so when hodge returns they would be on my bench and gromes would be 7th defender.
In my midfield cross would be my 5th midfielder with cockie, sheldon and beams fighting for the 6th spot!

Ok, I've decided to downgrade Hodge to Grimes. Hodge has been scoring nothing but shit when he wasn't injured and now he's said to be gone up to a month. So I'll have 146k in the bank, I have these options:

Ziebell -> Steve Johnson

or

Rich -> Boyd (Or I could do Otten to Cale Morton or Boak but I like Otten better than Rich, way more consistant.)

yeah i know and they are both very risky i think.
people are using a trade to pick up grimes as a keeper. think he could easily get injured or have some off weeks - as he plays for Melbourne

and sidebottom seems so risky as he can get dropped but i suppose they have some 3-4 week injuries and that's nearly all you need him for but thomas, medhurst, didak and possibly rocca are all coming back this week

but it's just because there are pretty much no options at the moment to raise money to upgrade players which you need to be starting to do now.

Yeah i held on Robbo... pretty stoked as i traded him for l. anthony in WK 2.. and was pissed i had to trade him out for not much as i was about to trade him out for cockie.. should fatten up over next 2 weeks.. with that 100.. and once the 17 drops of the radar.. Might be just in time to downtrade for l.anthony..

I've got 13 trades left and 104,200 to use.
At the moment i'm probably going Brown --> Sidebottom which will leave me 185,100.
I'm then looking to get rid of Petrenko, but can only afford someone up to around 320,000 and no one really stands out there, but with Petrenko on my bench that really doesnt matter right now.

Is there any one who has any ideas as to what i should do, as I really struggling right now..

Yeah can't fault those trades, that 420k mid would be Swan I assume?

hmm with ablett coming back, rekon that will effect bartels scores? if so, u mite look at getting hayes as he is in ripper form, and like u sed 3 cats players mite be too many ?

yea hayes looks good but then u look at his scores and surely hes due for some lesser scores to level out that average...i was keen on him when he was around 400 but thought id give tuck another few weeks... should have traded out tuck then grr

What do people think of Jason Porplyzia as a Krakouer upgrade ? He's dropped approx $60k from the start of the year. Other than noticing him put up 100 on the weekend, I haven't been following his form, but I remember he was a steady improver during the last season. Does anyone know where he's at injury / form wise ?

Gun player, I see him as more of a SC specialist though.
