Zaharakis -> Kornes
Warren -> Ballantyne

Leaves me $260k

Was going to pull the trigger on NGB -> Didak but I'm going to give Brown until after the break to be named, as I don't like the sideways nature of this trade. I'll name put Ballantyne on the ground with Mitch Brown emergency, in case he isn't named...

If NGB's not back next week then my trades will be:

Rich -> Bartel
Brown-> Didak

Banking on Didak not going up too much this week. His b/e is only 50 odd but playing Sydney, I hope they'll restrict him to a sub 80 score.

I think you made the correct decision. That's a great midfield. I can't believe you were thinking of trading Foley.

Seriously considered it tbh, but after weighing up my options, have settled on the Coughlan trade. (Muston/Hartlett to cover off the bench for the season).

Very happy tbh... 6 trades left and plenty of time to sit my current team...

would love some BF expert advice on this one.

currently haver seven trades remaining, with either two or three upgrades left to do, depending on form.

my budget is $163,700 and i have the following three options, with my thinking included:

1) Rich to Bartel: Would leave me with almost $20K, and is an obvoius good choice due to bartel's scoring. but as rich is clearly better then the rest of the my last 4 mids (muston, hartlett, joseph), should i keep him?

2) Joseph to anyone under $342,200: Clearly the least scoring potential of my mids, and the least indication for growth. but cant find anyone i would say is worth it. anyone?

3) Hartlett to Kornes/Stanton/Bruce/Dal Santo: Have something like $376K for hartlett, and these are the four best options under that. Stanton an Dal Santo are risks with more possible reward or failure, and Kornes and Bruce are solid dt scorers. but is this a smart trade?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you're looking at option two Cross is the only one I'd consider but he's horribly out of form.
Stanton is at a reasonable price given his average but he's very inconsistent. If you're in it for the league this may cost you at times.
Kornes a great option as well, very reliable performer and well priced.
Obviously Bartel will score better than these, but with 7 trades (6 after this) and still possibly two upgrades and 4 trades to do then Rich is probably worth hanging onto for a little longer given he looks the most likely to continue getting games and scoring ok at this stage.

Hmmm still tossing up whether a trade of Houlihan to Mundy/Ellis is worth it. Currently looking at Rich to Kornes, but could potentially do Houlihan to Enright and hold Rich for another week or two. Rich>Kornes and Houlihan>Mundy/Ellis would leave me with 7 trades left and only Sidebottom (Mid) and Grimes to upgrade and 30k in the bank. Houlihans form/job security is the main concern.

IMO, hold Houlihan and trade Rich.

As I think over the remainder of the year you will gain more pts this way.

Is everyone trading Chad?
I don't want to but am gonna have to.

Not yet. I'm going to hold onto him for now. I've held onto him for two weeks, and will re-assess the situation next gameday. If it doesn't look better for Chad then he is gone, if he is coming along nicely then i'll keep him and do some trading elsewhere.

Going to be trading either Rich or Coughlan to Bartel, but who?

I always envisioned Coughlan as being 6th mid, but his job security seems to be somewhat unstable with the new coach. However, I always planned on trading Rich and now seems like a good time. He isn't averaging enough to be a keeper but is nearing 300K. I have Muston to cover for Coughlan this week, but I would be hoping he would play out the rest of the season.

Would like to do the same but would be copping a 0 this week. Trying to do decide if it's worth it.

I traded Coughlan to Stanton this week and will trade Rich to Bartel next round.

Im upgrading to Rich to either;

1) Pendlebury
2) Bartel
3) Hayes
4) Sewell

Atm I rate them in that order.

What are everybodys thought and what order do you rank them?
I would say Bartel, Hayes, Pendles, Sewell

Go Jimmy for sure. 11k less, averaging 5 points more, is at his lowest price. I think anyone looking at trading in Pendles is really quite stupid. A great pick up at the start of the year but at with an inflation 60k is definitely not worth it.

Really tossing up between Deledio and Gianciracusa as far as upgrading Ziebell to goes.

Similar averages - Deledio 8 grand cheaper.

Gia seems to have hit some form, whilst Deledio isn't pulling out many big numbers as of late, besides hitting the ton against Freo two weeks back. Has only 3 100's for the year.

Deledio:

Pros: Deledio may well free up and start playing better now a new coach has been appointed. Despite being tagged most weeks, has still averaged 24 disposals.

Cons: Struggling to cope with the tag, and I'm worried Rawlings will put him in the forward line Wallace style.

Gianciracusa:

Pros: In hot form, with an average of over 100 over the last 4 weeks. Seems to have well and truly shaken his poor start to the year, and as the Dogs hot up, Gianciracusa has too.

Cons: With Murphy back in the side will he get as constant a supply? If the Bulldogs drop in form will Gianciracusa plummet too?

Really scratching my head, and although I wouldn't normally ask for advice about a 1 vs 1 decision like this, another opinion would be good.

Because there averaging about the same now, but Deledio is not playing his best whereas i think Gia is. Worst case they average the same. But if Lids hits some form he will average more imo.

See I thought the same, but I don't think Deledio is playing at his worst either, and I'm worried about how a potential stint in the forward line will hurt his scores.

Leaning towards Deledio, but I'm not sure if that's Richmond bias or not.

EDIT: Thanks for the opinion mate, very well reasoned.

bit of second thoughts in getting riewoldt. perhaps steve johnson is better pick as he is safer injury player and averaging basically the same. steven johnson might get more attention the 2nd half of the year because he creates so many scores and last week he struggled and so did geelong. roo always gets attention and still produces the scores he has so its really hard to split in my opinion.
who would others get?

I go by the rule that players that had a high value starting the season are the players that will finish the season strong.

The players with the fitness and tank to go the distance.

I still think Buddy and Cross are these players just shouldn't have had them from the start.
