This from cricinfo.....
Change of bowling, Siddle's reward for collecting five is to be whipped out of the attack and replaced by Mitchell Johnson.

collingwood and trott look second rate
they should be all in the shed by now

Quoted again for the lulz

i sure dont want swann to hang around and pile on a quick-but-annoying 30-40, it will serve to fuel his bowling.

also, if that was to happen australia will have to score 500 just to make them bat again

EDIT - they wont bat again

Looking more and more likely that Australia won't bat before lunch. Good for me, as I'll be getting there for the first ball after lunch. It'd be great if England bat out their innings as I'd like to see both teams bat at least a little. I'd also like to come back on day 5... wishful thinking.

the swat by graham swann is promising to the australian top order, head out of position for that shot

should be encouraging to australia to bat for 7 sessions

I meant generally speaking. He took a 6fer at the Gabba, but went back to bowling short shite in Adelaide and Perth. I'm hoping that this Boxing Day bag is his "coming if age", so to speak.

This is the problem, too many turning it on for one Test to turning to sh1t for another 3 or 4. Siddle after his hat trick, Johnson after one Test in Perth, North with the bat we know about. They suck us in and we keep playing them only for a let-down. Win an odd Test match but lose a series because we spend too much time being sh1t. Most of us have had enough and bowling has been a big part. Now the batting has joined in too unfortunately

If Siddle pitches up in Sydney that track should really suit him. If he doesn't he will be carted. Hope the penny has dropped. If he bowls well consistently for Test after Test then he can play for as long as he likes. If he goes back and bowls sh1t again next Test then we just have to start looking elsewhere. Same with Johnson. Enough of the one-offs to save a place in the team. That's series losing.

Just tuned in but.. why hasn't Siddle been put in again? He's been the best bowler clearly and at 7 down we don't need Johnson's wide tripe and Hilfenhaus' nothing deliveries

Just because someone is the best bowler, it doesn't mean they can bowl un-changed all day.

Also, Ricky doesn't want to bat.

getting bored of bumble lloyd constantly saying johnson is "fragile" in the sky sports commentary .Lloyd is the weak link in the sky sports team.

Don't see the point in trying to slow them down. It's Session 1 Day 3 ffs. If it was Day 4, yes. But it's Day 3. We need to get them out then see about batting for as long as we can. The longer we spend in the field means the more tired we'll be when we come in to bat.

Also, in a related shameless plug:
Day 1 Album (340 photos)
Day 2 Album (169 photos so far, rest still being uploaded

This Flickr uploader is the slowest, most unreliable thing I've seen since our top order.
