Re: Geelong finals tickets information

Not going to be anywhere near a sell out so I'm just going to scan in with the AFL membership, $13.5 booking fee plus an extra $5 transaction fee (why isn't this included in the booking fee?) is a joke.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

I have two tickets available for grand final day that need to be sold due to family member moving wedding date forward to grand final day!!!

Includes entry to grand final brunch before game!

Forrssman will take them off your hands, but only if you buy him a present first. :thumbsu:

(Still tho unsure about your story. Sif someone would get married on GF day, that is just wrong, wrong, WRONG).

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

I found when buying tickets with memberships, if we used the adult membership number, we were able to get significantly better seats than when we used the concession memberships. We tried it several times, and each time the same result.

Which end does the cheer squad go?

I have a ticket to the Semi on Friday right next to the cheer squad at the Ponsford end. How do they work out which cheer squad goes where? I'm hoping I have the Cats.

Who has a wedding on GF day? If I were you I would shoot your family member for making such a decision. :D

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

We still dont know!!!!! For their honeymoon they have decided to take a two year working holiday / honeymoon to the USA. They apparently have really good jobs lined up that "apparently" are too good to refuse!!! We have told the bride and groom to cancel the band for the wedding because we are brining in a big screen tv to watch the game...hmmmm....you can imagine that didn't go down to well :)

Sorry I dunno if you're telling the truth here. :p

For starts most weddings are what 1pm or 2pm the ceremony? Even if its later ceremonies only go for 45mins/1 hour. Then you have hours and hours to wait until the reception.

Surely you can watch the game in between the ceremony and the reception.

Unless of course they are having a lunch rather than a dinner.

I wouldn't be going to the wedding, simple as that.

And frankly, I wouldn't care if they never talked to me again either.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

so what numbers do you think the crowd will be tonight?
I would say 40,000 at the very, very best. Probably significantly less.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

yep can't see it beeing a big crowd, the MCG will look very empty with a low crowd, do you think there will be more tomorrow night for the dogs vs swans.

I would say so, marginally.
