He's on big money now, so not sure he'll be third in line.

Brisbane talking to Kofi Danning apparently.

I only meant third in total as someone mentioned we have a few strikers. Will be interesting to see how they all fit in. A good predicament to have!

Ernie- I agree we have more pressing concerns but this is still a good signing- he will only get better too.

Danning is terrible. Hope hes not a like for like replacement

At this stage it looks like Costas will stay so I'd say he moves into the striker role. I agree Danning isn't great but after last season I'll back Ange to improve him if he comes.

Looks like Bisbane will lose Susak, Solorzano, Redmayne possibly and maybe McKay if he kills it for Australia in Germany. Most seem to be staying which is good news, but it can change if a club starts sniffing. I know WBA were looking at Costas during last season and Stoke of all clubs were sniffing around McKay. I din't think Stoke looked at anyone under 6'5 :)

**** sake, we didn't get either Djite or Solorzano in the end.

Victory one up us after we signed one of their players, good way to get the rivalry going.

True that. I'm sure Heart f*cking hate us for sure now.

Solorzano will get a game ahead of Allsopp at least. Possibly even Archie.

Has anybody mentioned Kruse going to Dusselldorf yet? CBF looking.

Nice.

I have it on pretty good authority that SVD is currently using his Golden Boot award to shop himself in Asia and not just for a loan deal. He wants a big money deal in Japan or Korea and will ask for a transfer to get it.

Will have to wait and see if any of the Asian clubs want him and how much they are willing to part with.

Wow- a shame if true. I was actually keen to see Bruce and the Dyke up forward together, could be a great combo.

Robert Pires has said in an interview overnight that he has recieved an offer from an A-League club.

But GCU said they won't be investing any money in new players, the will only sign their NYL players in Senior roles. The club has pretty much given up. IMO all QLD clubs other than Brisbane can go get f***ed.

Yeah that's why I said it would more likely be Newcastle.

GCU will fold as soon as Clive loses interest and stops bankrolling them, and that will probably be in another season or two.

Big news this morning (assuming it's not April Fools), Mitch Nichols has signed with Portsmouth for a transfer fee of around $300,000.

Scott Neville has also joined Portsmouth on a 2-week trial.

Pretty sure it's not true, at least that's what I was told. Not a player but the CEO is leaving in April though which is a bummer for me as it means no more info for me :p :) I guess that means the former Lions CEO is gonna take over (Bowers??)
