I think he would be extremely unlucky to miss. He was pretty good last week and Ladson has been ommitted so there is space for a small back. Hopefully he plays. I only have him because he is cheap and there are bugger all $100k defenders around who look like playing. Otten to Pop's got me 120K which will land me both Delidio and Gibbs for Curnow and Harris.
If he doesn't play I will have both him and Hibberd sitting on the bench without their price moving

Just did Curnow to Smith and Grimes to Shaw.
Been thinking all week that I would go with Fisher, but for some reason I just decided on Shaw. I think partly because I already have Goddard, and Shaw will only be my second Pies player with Pendles.

Depends on your trade situation. It looks like you've got enough cover for both blokes this week.
However, you could downgrade Curnow -> I.Smith which gives you the Midfield/Forward DPP combo. Then you can either hang on to the cash or use it to upgrade Grimes, and you should be able to pick up whoever you like.

I'm looking at getting Heath Shaw in the backline, so downgrading Curnow to Smith will get me more than enough money.
Anyway, I always do my trades when the teams have been finalised. 20 minutes...

Ive just done Grimes to R.Murphy and my god does it make my back line look alot better for some reason. Ive only done 1 trade this week, i will still be playing 2 short this week which i dont really mind about, im going for league win. My question: What does anybody think of me doing Otten to Daniel Pratt. It will only cost 140k and i think he might be a smokey in a pretty shitty team, plus nobody has him, and by nobody i mean 0.46% lol what did he miss the start of the season for??? He's played 3 games and averaging 97.7.........
BTW: i got 518k in the bank and have Goddard,Gibbs,Deledio,Heppel,R.Murphy,Lower,Duigan,Thompson,Toy,Otten...

Derickx, probably.
Tippett has only been selected for the R/F MPP with Petrie, Bailey is on the way back from three knee recos, Gawn is an emergency this week and might get a couple of games towards the end of the season, and Derickx is a mature-age who is playing reserves after being injured.

i dont want enright coz he's r*ped me in the past, plus ive got selwood and plan on getting chappy so 3 geelong players with a bye in finals = no thanks! And same goes for shaw, i dont really trust him, plus even though ive got money, doesnt mean i spend it all at once, and murphy is considerably cheaper......good enough for you! lol

If Ottens is out, Vardy will debut tonight. He's only going to play a handful of games this year so no good if relying on him playing but if you are desperate for a R4 downgrade he is also an option.

Stretched pretty thin in the midfield this week. Have Harris, Curnow and Murphy on the bench, with Atley and Iles on the field. Couldn't make any midfield changes as I need to use the trades in the backline with Gibbs, Grimes and Duigan out.
Next week will downgrade Swallow or Harris and upgrade Curnow to a premium.

Dude, i didnt spend any cash, i actually made money by trading Grimes to Murphy, plus its not like my backline is complete or anything. Still got more upgrades to do and id rather wait til later in the season and get someone who is a definate premium. Averaging over 100 in the 1st 7 games doenst make them a premium IMO

I don't think it matters really... both will be downgrade targets for a LOT of teams over the upcoming weeks.
The benefit of Jacobs is that his job security is better (probably) and he provides the multi-position flexibility.
