Re: Round 8 Trades

Can you do duigan to rawlings and Harris to deledio? Gives you much needed mpp coverage as well as 2 handy upgrades.
Sorry just noted you already have lids. But with that much cash and underperforming rookies upgrades are required

Im now thinking of trading Tarrent/Duigan for Jacobs,
Then upgrade harris/conca for a pendels/chapman type?!

Re: Round 8 Trades

Gonna upgrade Grimes but cant decide on Shaw or Adcock (have only Swan from the Pies and no other Brissy players).

Then who to trade out to make it happen, Toy or Duigan. Who has the best potential to increase in value?

Toy has been dropped and has bye next week so leaning towards him. But Shaw or Adcock???

Cheers

Rethink - didak and krak wasted on your forward bench, need Isaac smith in your mids maybe for Harris, then upgrade duigan or tarrant to a premium defender, maybe fisher or swan. Should give you much more flexibility going forward.

Re: Round 8 Trades

Alright, I've been having trouble on deciding who to get in for Grimes, I keep thinking Gibbs, but looking at others like Fisher, Shaw and Newman, they could all be a go. Even Rob Murphy is pretty tempting averaging 94, and Daniel Pratt also. What do you guys think I should do?
If I downgrade to Rob Murphy or Pratt I could get Pav into my forward line, which would be very handy. If most people choose Gibbs I might leave it that extra week and take the score from Puopolo, although he is named on the extended bench.
Thoughts? Thanks guys.
Gibbs has the bye this week.

Re: Round 8 Trades

what's up with Harris? Out for a hip injury. Do we know how long?

Harris or Swallow or Liba ---> Pendlebury

Toy or Otten --> Puopolo

Not going to trade Didak now, he has lost to much $$$ so I will hang onto him and hope he comes good. I'm more worried about my defense, there is 1 to many under performing rookies....

Re: Round 8 Trades

yup the bye in the finals was the clincher

14 trades left

40k in the bank

Deledio, Shaw, Gibbs, Broughton, Adcock, Murphy, Heppell (Thompson, Toy, Hibbard)
Pendlebury, Selwood, Goddard, Cotchin, Harris, Swallow (Libba, Iles, Lock)
Sandilands, Petrie (Smith, McCauly)
Franklin, Goodes, Riewaldt, Riewaldt, Fyfe, Rioli, Higgins (Tapscott, Matera, Smith)

just wanna bring in pav, swan, cox and i'm pretty happy with that

Re: Round 8 Trades

Gibbs has the bye this week.
Yeah, which is a factor on why I'm not sure whether to get him, but Gibbs would be a keeper, I've got Jacobs to come in this week in place of Gibbs if I decide to get him though.

Re: Round 8 Trades

I find it humurous how all the people who have already been stung by the perennially injured Grimes is willing to trade him and take a punt on a bloke who has a just as bad injury record.

Re: Round 8 Trades

For the sake of planning our teams, with what likelihood would you say Krakouer is going to be the sub tonight?

Edit: doesn't matter, just realised we'll know tonight's subs before lockout

Has missed 12 games in the past 5 seasons, not too bad

Wasn't suggesting to trade didak, bringing in smith means you can swap didak to the middle and then upgrade your defences. Using mpp players to your advantage

Most people have a most of the gun durable backline players already, there's slim picking in the backline so you've got to take what you can get.

Re: Round 8 Trades

Yeah definitely talking about Adcock.

Heath Shaw is going along very nicely, hitting some of his 07 form.

will take bravery to get adcock. maybe once my mids/forwards are completed, then i may look at Adcock to replace one of my back shitkickers

Deledio, Heppel, Gibbs, Enright, Shaw, Scotland, Newman and Fisher are all going very well and have good injury records.
