On Saints players, they wouldn't let anyone of value go under FA, owing to the paucity of young players deserving much of a wage lift. I think they would entertain however an early pick/trade for a Montagna or Dal Santo.

I was hoping to see a competitive ruckman or two in that list in case Jolly and Hudson both choose to call stumps at the end of the year. If they do, we'll need to pick up an experienced guy, even if it is just as back up to Witts and Grundy.

Cox is no chance. Hawks will give Bailey a pretty big raise I would expect. Hille is a possibility, but unlikely.

Davey is someone I'd definitely poke a stick at. Looks to be a strained relationship at Melbourne,although that being said, they'dbe hard placed enough to fill their cap quota with all the experience that's left and no-one experienced wanting to go there.

If he wants success, he can come to us. Play him off the bench and get him on once the ball starts to exit our defensive 50. I'd love him as a link man but I guess that's what we got Young for.

Then we could just bid huge for restricted free agents (Watson, Betts and Franklin) and force their clubs to match it using up valuable cap space, wouldnt mind Sylvia though with Didaks wages.
