If Goddard was available at 19, Rogers wouldn't be able to say it fast enough. His a solid 2nd tall KPP, and it would sure up our KPP stocks.
Wonder if we would draft McKenzie, if his still available at our pick 28?
Could let him develop slowly in the two's with Casboult, Henderson and potentially Jones being our talls forwards.

Assuming all goes as we expect
Would be very interesting if we picked Goddard at 19 who we would pick at 28, obviously best available but knowing that Rogers has a "quota" to fill he may go a midfielder.
Off memory it was a key forward (jones) a key back (jaksch) two midfielders (possibly Whiley) a small forward (tutt) and a wingman
That leaves a mid and a wingman, not saying that things won't go off script but that indicates that we will be aiming for outside mids with picks 19 and 28
Played for WAFL premiers out of the bush for his 1st year after being in the can for his younger days.
Think he's 24'ish. Relative of Chris. Looks tall, quick forward with a fair boot on him though not always accurate.
There is another Chris Yarran that was tearing it up at under 16's level but dropped off the radar. Hopefully he plays some decent footy next year back in the WAFL.

Let's say GWS lose Boyd to the dogs then how does this impact the draft selection.,
1- Saints, take Petracca
2. melb, Brayshaw
3, MElb, McCartin
4, GWS, Wright will now need a tall to replace Boyd
5, Collingwood, LeVerde
6, Bulldogs, Lever with Boyd they will now have the full forward and full back they are so desperate to find.
7, Carlton, all the KP stock is gone except Durdin or do we go the midfield route with Pickett, Weller, Ahearn, Lamb..
Who is likely to be there at 19?? Perhaps Marchbank or Goddard as KPP or a spruik mid like Cripps.. I also find it hard to believe that in all the phantoms I have seen, the only SA player in the top 20 is Sam Durdin and this is despite South Aus winning the u/18 national champs, I don't know much about the South Aussie players but I suspect there may be some diamonds in the rough amongst them,

Chris25's phantom always has good insights on SA footy - they tend to pick a squad to win the championships rather than showcase individual players. But the system allows 16yo kids to play senior SANFL footy if they're good enough, so the emphasis is different that TAC Cup.
Ironically, he said he thinks Durdin is a bit more of a project player than certain others because at 197cm Sam has been asked to ruck, rather than settle into a key position.
Lets discuss who we can pick at pick 19 and the later picks. Unless Weller is there (Man face, can tell he will be good) it should be Duggan (Again, man face. Has all the facial attributes to make it in the AFL).
Possible future captain.
Caleb Daniel, despite his height also has a touch of man face and should be considered.
JARROD GARLETT, looks like a pimp, get him.
Touk Miller, black, nuff said, has the cool facial aesthetics of an NBA player...Star in the making.
Castagna is another who should be considered with a later pick, face can be a bit iffy, but Italian last name, it means chestnut. Jason Chestnut.
Reece Mckenzie, not convinced (not enough face shots).
Clem smith will be fat in about 2 years.
There is always a guy with the last name Lamb in the draft, always underwhelming, same goes for the other Cripps (too many).
Dont be fooled by Jordan Cunico, Italian last name but does not have the face! I repeat does not have the face...I think he has red hair as well.
Dillon Viojo-Rainbow, name too complex and too much of a novelty, will be delisted by 2016.
Oleg Markov, a bit of slav/Russian never hurt anyone. Ridiculous looking wog hair, id go for him.
I repeat, I am not trolling. This face/Italian last name thing works every time.

ahh yup..
Corey Ellis could be a 'smart' pickup as he seems to be rated play for making and hitting targets (which is something we desperately need more of). Didn't participate in the combine due to a foot injury (unsure how serious) but should slide I suspect.

if every team is looking to have 190cm mids then having a player who is so much closer to the ground would be an advantage.

Yep, I am totally over the bias against little blokes (174 here, but make up for it in girth these days)
Harvey is the poster boy, Lewy Taylor, Neade, Impey, Jennedy-Harris, all the "short people" given a chance in recent
times have made it.......quickly. Sure they may have trouble with the crash and bash in the engine room, (Murphy
is found out physically on occasion at 180cm), but skills and smarts transcend sheer physical size.
Caleb Daniel has shown so much more than even our 2014 rising star winner at junior level. Will be a bargain for
whoever has the guts/foresight to pick him up. Too many good judges (and some armchair ones) have stated
that if he was 10cm taller he would be vying for #1 in the draft (or suggestions to that effect)
I like him too but lets not get crazy here. Taylor was an outstanding junior and was a bargain pick up for the lions.
