Is it Ticketmaster that gives you the ability to choose your specific seat for an event? I remember doing it for the Hawks game in the Gold Coast.

Ticketmaster do it for Etihad too but this system can't be used for high demand events.
What would happen is that you get a map of all available seats, select a good one, but in the mean time 20 other people have also selected the same seat and you would have to reselect and with thousands of people doing this at 9am it would be chaos.

If anyone can help with a barcode or ticket or anyway I can get a ticket to GF would appreciate any help. I'm in Adelaide and just missed out last year. Never been to a hawks GF...

Over the years I usually have access to some finals tickets and this year is I have some tickets again.

If anyone is interested in securing their Preliminary Final tickets then feel free to send me a PM
N29-N30 $155ea
M29-M30 $130ea
M5-M7 $120ea
Level Q rows D, E, F $80ea

No hassles with booking through ticketek & these prices are cheaper than ticketek too

You can even get the tickets this week

I forgot, but is this the time when you register the barcodes together, so if 1 person gets a seat/standing so does the other ?
yes and if one is out so is all in group etc i think is how they say it and if your friend is silver and you are gold your gold disappears and you will be put in as silver if i remember right , i am lucky all in my group are gold and if you say you wont take standing when you are gold or higher you forfeit the guarantee seat deal if no seats left when your name comes up you miss out on any seats

I have 3 spare Children Silver memberships, does anyone know if I enter them in the ballot can they be upgraded to Adult tickets?

You can't.

"Adult members may only purchase tickets at Adult prices and Concession and Junior members may only purchase Concession tickets."

If I could only get access to a concession ticket I would just scan and bolt before they could ask for a concession card. They aren't Metro officers.

I assume concession and children memberships are different? I ask because I become a student mid year and now have access to a concession card.

So if I were to enter a children's ticket, and get it, I could go in with my confession card?
Yes, a child membership gets a concession GF ticket, it is the same as any other concession ticket.

I also believe you can upgrade tickets at the ticket window on the day of the game.
I upgraded a child ticket to a concession ticket in week 1 last year.
If you don't have a concession card then I would still try and get in, they often don't bother checking. If you get turned back then just try a different turnstile. The worst that can happen is you have to upgrade and pay the difference. Or borrow someone else's card.

Does anyone know if we will have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets with our membership ticket for the Prelim Final this year?
I wouldn't hazard a guess on how many, but I agree with PNess that the interstate-team factor should mean guest passes will be available. I can't recall the situation back in 2012 against the Crows.

Not quite true. During the finals there are Adult, Concession and Junior tickets on sale. No junior tickets for the Grand Final.
