They only ask for the membership to go with the ticket. Not the ID.
They say on the emails that they will ask for the membership card, and ID to prove the membership is yours. Whether they put that into practice or not is another question.

I have 3 single tickets available in AFL reserve all $350 each plus handling fee (Q27 row Y, Q23 Row X, M33 row MM).
Also 1 in M19 row JJ for $193.
I will be going to Hawks training tomorrow so can meet there if anyone interested.

I got pulled up last year and they checked our ID, our ticket and memberships.

You would have to be very unlucky though with the amount of people flooding through that gate

I made direct eye contact and kept looking at the guy...the he came over and asked me and the missus. As i said in the main board thread, I piss farted around fumbling shit for about 15 mins whilst everyone else went past us and they got in.

Hey guys I'm hoping someone can help with my question. Sitting in the ponsford stand but would like to have a beer with a mate sitting in the Olympic. Does that walkway over the mcc still exist? Or is there another way to get around there without exiting the ground?

Hi all, like many others I am looking for 1 Adult ticket standing/sitting if anyone has one available.

Missed the Ballot for the 3rd time on the trot so if there is one out there shoot me a PM

Cheers

That's when you need to tape a 50 to the back of the id, then once he grabs it, has a look, your in.

I am interested in M19 seat if its still available...Would you PM me please????
Daniel
think someone has beat me to it...Good luck to you.

Again if anyone has a single or two tickets available...would they flick me a PM...Thanks. Tickets not easy to come by..
One more question for Hawthorn brethren, would you tell me how to PM a message, rather than clutter up the thread each time ???

Cheers...and good luck hawks, can't wait to see Buddy crying a river post game !!! (hope I don't eat my words)...

Has anyone ever bought a ticket on someone on match day, outside the gate? I'm going to line up and see if they let restricted MCC members in, failing that I'll have to resort to something else if I can't find a ticket beforehand.

I am an AFL member, so i showed my id and membership card. I fumbled and ****** around for ages so those behind me without memberships could get in.

I am a good dude

I am currently in the process of acquiring a family friends AFL Member Ticket for Satday. Having never been in the AFL Members before, do they check everyone upon entering the ground or is it a lucky dip of who gets asked to submit ID? Just want to make sure before saying yes, dont want to be told to leave after using their ticket or getting them into trouble for giving me the ticket?

I dont get why they would get shitty if someone else is using their ticket. Its been paid for so who cares. The AFL are making millions in ticket sales, so they should just get over themselves.

They get "shitty" because selling your ticket to a non-member then denies legitimate silver members the opportunity to buy tickets.

Do you think its fine for priority 1 hawks members to sell their ticket to a non-member, and have priority 2 & 3 members miss out ?

Its random. Prior years its pretty obvious who the officials are (Guys in suits with clipboards) and as soon as they were occupied checking someone, a flurry of people would flood in.

I actually got checked at the round 22 game against the Cats, first time ever for a regular season game. Haven't been checked or even seen them at the finals though.

This has been answered about 10 times.
They do random checks, obviously logistics mean only a small percentage can be checked. It's not too hard to have a look at the turnstile and avoid the guys in suits doing the checking.
