Ok, well you can come up with some other reason why Port would be looking to offload a starting midfielder in the same year that they are trying to secure Dixon....the rest of us will call it cap space.what do you mean 'cap space'?
we dont need cap space - if any club needed cap space, look no further than the club you support.
We cleared around 1.2 mil when we got rid of Shaw, Harvey, Kornes, Logan, Redden, Wagner, Flynn, Russell
and have an extra 600k left over from last year, when we got Ryder.
so everyone, please STOP TALKING ABOUT PORT NEEDING CAP SPACE!
we arent looking to offload him and NEVER WERE!!!Ok, well you can come up with some other reason why Port would be looking to offload a starting midfielder in the same year that they are trying to secure Dixon....the rest of us will call it cap space.
Wrong.we arent looking to offload him and NEVER WERE!!!
geez....
how am i wrong?Wrong.
When have port ever said they are looking to offload him? it the silly season and the media love running with bullshit rumours. Why would we be starting contract negotiations if we wanted to offload him?Ok, well you can come up with some other reason why Port would be looking to offload a starting midfielder in the same year that they are trying to secure Dixon....the rest of us will call it cap space.
By the same logic, your username would mean you don't know about football.how am i wrong?
what would u know, you go for the Hawks and presumably live in Victoria, so what would you know about Port Adelaide?
point taken...By the same logic, your username would mean you don't know about football.
It's a connected world, people know people who live and support other clubs
I hope you drove him away from Arden St as fast as you couldWas his driver that day, he's just scouting out set locations.
point taken...
still to say that we were looking to offload him is utter BS
Please, there's 3 years difference between them, and Beams was an AA player by the time he was Treloars age. Beams' injury worries are dubious at best. It's a little odd that he had a 16 week 'quad injury' but has had no issue since. I'll leave it at that.Treloars also a fair bit younger and has many more years ahead of him. Also doesnt seem to have any major injury worries like Beams.
Treloars close the hottest young midfield prospects in the game. Hes certainly not limited.
if we were rebuilding yes correct but we are trying to win a premiership, why trade one of our best midfielders when we already have a lack of midfield depth. It would be one of the worst moves in the history of the port adelaide football club. And Kenny etc are not that stupid. If Hartlett was to get off loaded to get Dixon , you'd be crazy not to take it.
Hartlett is replaceable and Dixon gives you an extra key forward
Pretty sure Beams missed the last 5 games with a shoulder injuryPlease, there's 3 years difference between them, and Beams was an AA player by the time he was Treloars age. I never said Treloar was limited, nor did I say he wasn't one of the best young kids available, but he's no Beams, and there's no guarantee he ever will be. I hope he is though.

You know that Beams missed the last 5 weeks this year with a shoulder injury, right? He played 16 games yet still came equal first. If he'd played the last month he would have won by the length of the Flemington straight.BnFs have different voting systems so they're subjective/relative. Obviously the Terlich point is that shit players can finish high in BnFs as well as good ones, so not a whole lot of use saying a player is worth more because of a high BnF finish. No one could argue Terlich is our 3rd best player. Beams finished equal first with Mitch Robbo, he must worth the same as Beams hey? AA selection is subjective, it's picked by a panel of people whose opinions are subjective.
Not sure of your point. Sustaining an isolated impact injury doesn't make a player injury prone.Pretty sure Beams missed the last 5 games with a shoulder injury
http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/current-high-profile-player-serving-3-strikes-ban.1009211/That quad was pretty bad
how am i wrong?
Yes you are as usualWrong.
Why did you think I'd put quotation marks around "quad injury" earlier? For kicks? It's pretty common knowledge by now.I heard about that but I didn't want to drop a bomb like that into the discussion.
whose your mail?Port are open to offers for Hamish.
Not going to divulge that.whose your mail?
havent heard that mate
