To everyone here!!! Ive heard a rumour that a whole bunch of players from every club wabt to be traded and no matter there playing ablilty they are all worth a minimum first rounder... Plus no matter what clubs tell u if they deal is good enough then clubs will take it lol...
Also keep up the childish bickering it is so worth reading
Well what do you know a cross supporter trying to explain something about port they clearly have no ******* idea about... What a surprise.
No cap issues at all, last year we had 1.2mill free so we got Ryder. So we still had $500k free in the cap, get rid of cornes, redden and Butch taking a pay cut (would had been on mid $400k) and we are close to a million in the cap free. Everything you hear in the media is just people bull shit journalist wanting people to read their headlines without any facts

As i said everyone here and other footy websites...Source??
Could ask the same question to you.I'm curious to know how it is that you personally know the exact amount of cap space your team has? Do you have a source at the club that tells you exactly how much each player earns?
Your meant to say you can't give that away....As i said everyone here and other footy websites...
Could ask the same question to you.
Answer me this, why would we be offering Dixon so much money if we had no cap space left? Remember port also have to resign a number of stars that will want pay increases next year (wingard, wines, hartlett just to name a few). Do you really think port would be that negligent to sign a key forward on big money if we were using "105% of the salary cap already". No we wouldn't, there were numerous reports last year that we had 1.2 mill in the cap, now apparently after spending $700k on a ruckman we have no space left.Well it would be a dumb question to ask as I haven't come on here saying that my club has x amount of cap space and everyone who thinks otherwise is wrong
Because you really want Dixon and u are willing to pay overs for himAnswer me this, why would we be offering Dixon so much money if we had no cap space left? But apparently we are using 105% of the salary cap so how is that possible #logic #nocapspendersBecause you really want Dixon and u are willing to pay overs for him

Bit ironic you just posted this couple hours after a random posted this on the Melbourne board..Prestia to Melbourne rumours are back according to my source
To be honest, saw the stuff on the Dees board then called my source. He agrees that it's back on but he's a cynical bastard, doesn't think it's a done deal yet.Bit ironic you just posted this couple hours after a random posted this on the Melbourne board..
I smell bullshit
He would've requested a trade this year.Prestia to Melbourne rumours are back according to my source
Cloke could use a side kick on channel 9, sometimes looks a little lost. There's only so many jobs Eddie has up his sleeve for girlfriends and parents.
Hamish Hartlett wants to play for Essendon.
My sauces (tomato based) say so...

1 if you actaully read your article you posted you will notice that she acatully does not state anywhere that port have salary cap issues, she never said that port are using 105%, it is more of an article stating how ryder got to port. she is just stating that because the club under spent in 2013 and 2012 we had a greater salary cap as in her words "Clubs that underspent by, for instance, $500,000 on total player payments and additional service agreements this year are permitted to spend up to $500,00 over the combined limits across 2016 and 2017"Wait - so published news reports are wrong? That's your point? You're suggesting Emma Quayle is making her articles up without any sources or evidence? You're saying she's lying?

What's your counter-evidence? What other sources are there, other than internet rumors?
I might be a "cross supporter", but I'm hardly attacking your club.
Port Adelaide is understood to have cleared at least $1.2 million, enough for Dixon and other salary increases at Alberton, by cutting retired premiership hero Kane Cornes, injured ruckman Jarrad Redden and untried draftees Mitch Harvey and Mason Shaw and by ultimately moving key forward John Butcher to the rookie list.
Combined with the $300,000 increase in the salary cap, the Power could have $1.5 million next season for Dixon, new draftees and increases written into existing contracts for star players such as Essendon recruit Patrick Ryder.
