In a cunning list move by CFC, we've recruited Josh Fraser just as he morphs into KPF Travis Cloke.

I think they are a strong top 4 chance. They've got some decent existing talent that should improve further (Caddy, Blicavs, Cockatoo, Horlin-Smith, DUncan etc etc). Lachie fills a clear need and Danger is a game changer. Zac Smith would be a great addition too. Only thing stopping them is how they handle the loss of Kellie and Stevie J

But I think this is an ok outcome at picks 17-18. 14-16 is a good outcome and anything lower than that is a bonus.

A healthy Menzel would be their replacement for Stevie J.

I'm trying to stay out of this discussion because I get too attached to players but seriously??? Casbolt and Bell for some kid no one has heard of and can't get a game at the Lions? And with all due respect, what is "nervous issues"??? No ! No! A rebuild doesn't mean push everyone out the door and get anyone that's left over after the other clubs have taken all the good players... I'll shut up now, but seriously, they're not really considering doing that? Surely not !

Maybe it is Bell for Mayes and Casboult for #21. Still do not want to lose Casboult.

That was my first thought too.

Not sure if taking this one too far, but that could also confirm Phlllips is on the way out. And given he's rumoured to come to Carlton, it would give us extra ruck cover for if/when Warnock is traded/delisted.

Bugger. Will be interesting to see when his name gets called and what StKilda have in picks to make it happen if they use their second rounder, etc. to get Carlisle and Freeman.

Maybe Rice will play a few years at STK then ask to be traded to CFC to play in a premiership

Doesn't hurt me one bit? As long as Jack Silvagni comes to us, I'm as happy as can be.

But it is not saying that we can't bid for Rice, as it is possible.

So far so good for us this trade period. No first round compo to dilute either our (or Brisbanes) 2nd round picks, and a 1st rounder from the Cats in next years much stronger draft. Henderson turns 26 this December so thats a massive win for us.

We've effectively traded out a 27 year old in 2016 for a mid to late first rounder. Take that and run.

How do these Father Son picks work. What if we have a couple of second round picks (our current pick plus any others via trading for Bell, etc.). Can we use one on Rice and force StKilda to use their 2nd pick which may stuff up their plans for Carlisle or Freeman? Is Rice worth it?

Trade Casboult to Freo for a pick 22-25 (they need to go find that pick.
Trade the freo pick to Hawthorn for Anderson.
Trade Yarran to Richmond for pick 15-17.
Trade this year's 2Nd and next year's 2Nd to Gws for Tomlinson, Plowman and whoever else.
Take lennon in the psd
Don't trade the 2016 geelong first round pick.

Out: Hendo, Yarran, Bell, Casboult, 2015 2Nd and 3Rd round pick, 2016 2Nd round pick

In: Mayes, Anderson, Tomlinson, Plowman. Maybe another gws player or 2, Lennon, pick 16 (yarran), 2016 first round pick (Hendo)
