Well thought and reasonable. I think Jones is not a KPF. He's a flanker inside a tall forwards body. I'm not sure that we can fix that but it's worth a try seeing he's contracted for the next two seasons.

My comment was more to do monotony and inanity of some of our Carlton brethren who think that when you don't want to think just throw some shit at Liam Jones. That's why I feel sorry for the guy.

Yes, there are plenty of whipping boys across the league, and Jones seems to be one of ours. and some of the things that get written and said about them can sometimes be cruel, mean and unfair. But when it comes to effort, will, and work rate, there's no excuse, because as I tell my own players, there's a massive difference between ability and responsibility... Everyone's "ability" is different and you can live with that, but your "responsibility" to work and give effort is the same for everyone.
Jones is either incapable or reluctant to give that effort, hence I think that criticism is warranted.

Seems an interesting deal, but I wouldnt be shocked to see 28 to the giants for that pack of 3-4 GWS players (Excluding Tomlinson)

The 20 + 21 for pick 8 or so from GWS

Maybe a deal swapping the Yarran Pick for Tomlinson

So looking at total outs and ins we lose Yarran, Hendo, Menz, Bell and our second and get Plowman, Sumner, Tomlinson, Phillips, Lamb and pick 8.
