The way I see it, the Anderson deal can be done independently. There's no reason why Carlisle to Saints would change it. Especially given clubs have shown their hands.

Exactly. In fact this strengthens our position as I assume he was confirmed to be happy to go to the Roos for the deal to work. Hawks wouldn't present without his consent. This means that if the Carlisle deal falls through, the Roos and Hawks will have a fall back worked out.

Cmon Philly , clutching at straws a little bet here arnt we, if thats the case iam South African after a little misdomeanour myself and a few mates were involved in at capetown 10 years ago!

Come to think of it that would explain my preference for biltong over jerky.
Well to be fair there was a few other statements before that one. Also you were OS on holidays... Trent went "home" for his holiday.

If someone were to run statistics on this thread and the rate of content being posted - it would be a sensational and sickening read.

It's impossible to read everything. Look away and miss 5 pages. Go to the last page. If nothing dramatic on it just move on.

I listened, there was no real need for him to mention us. All he said was they were getting two first rounders and they saw this as fair value, so the deal will get done if Carlisle agrees.

Sorry TD. It's a three way deal as summarised on Seven news tonight. Out of respect DoDo should have mentioned the NMFC. Hawthorn were said to be "professional". What were we? Chopped liver? It's about respect.

To put this in context, though, all Channel 7 was reporting was the trade scenario that was laid out in this thread just after lunch today. Things appear to have moved on from this since then.

Robbo: "I'm told Treloar has trouble saying no"

So nothing to do with...

I understand players need managers to ease the stress and balance of footy and life requirements, but honestly can SOME of these sheltered flogs think for themsleves?
