Given Fagan's strong opposition to the Monday game is there any chance North v GWS could do it as it would still be a game likely shaping who makes 8th (North) and top 4 (GWS)?

His strong opposition means we are an absolute certainty to get the Monday game

One possible advantage of playing the last game of the final round is that we (& WC) would know exactly what type of winning/losing margins were required where as it seems likely, % will play a big part in determining final premiership positions.
Remember that St Kilda v Essendon? match years ago when one had to win by about 20 goals to out us and the other side absolutely laid down for them in the last quarter to allow it.

Playing Monday night ensures we play the Sunday of Week 1 finals.

What if our opponent has played on the Friday night? That's an extra 3 day break.

And if it was Friday, country people wouldnt like. Saturday afternoon Amatuer League players couldnt go, Sunday arvo Junior Players struggle.

Cant play every game on Saturday at 7.10pm

Absolute joke this Monday night game is... cant go cos im flying out for work that morning. haven't missed a game all year at home now im missing this one.
Fagn wouldn't be acting the way he is about if we weren't getting it. we are 100% getting it.

I still cant believe people are shocked about the bye after round 23.. its only been on the fixtures and was announced last year. geez do you even football?
If we play on the Monday night our final could be any of the days in week one of the finals.. Thurs night-sat night. if there is a Thursday night final there wont be a Sunday final. both elimination finals will be the Saturday
