Ditto with West Coast and Freo. It's our turn to play away.
Footscray play VFL bro
My main request is for Richmond vs Carlton to not open the season...
request denied

Carlton season opener should be Sunday 1:10pm game, we are a rabble
I would rather prefer Hawthorn play West Coast in the week prior to Round 1, to kick off the 2016 AFL Premiership season, then everyone else play one week later (ie Richmond v Carlton at MCG).Ideal:
Thursday 24th March
Hawthorn vs. West Coast MCG 7:20 (7)
Friday 25th March
Port Adelaide vs. Fremantle AO 7:20 (7)
Saturday 26th March
Adelaide vs. Geelong AO 1:40 (7)
Sydney Swans vs. GWS Giants ANZ 4:40 (FF)
Collingwood vs. Western Bulldogs MCG 7:20 (7)
Sunday 27th March
Melbourne vs. St. Kilda ES 1:40 (FF)
Essendon vs. Carlton MCG 3:20 (7)
Brisbane vs. Gold Coast Gabba 4:40 (FF)
Monday 28th March
Richmond vs. North Melbourne MCG 3:20 (7)
I was going to say we have played the Bulldogs first up the last few years so it will probably be them.Well if thats the case id be willing to bet money we'll be scheduled to play the eagles away in round 1!
With a tad of bias i reckon richmond vs north would be a great season opener.
Adelaide vs geelong at adelaide oval would also be a great opener after the danger saga!
The locks:

Sunday, April 24 - Richmond v Melbourne, MCG
Monday, April 25 - Essendon v Collingwood, MCG
Monday, April 25 - St Kilda v TBC, Wellington
