Matt Crouch.

He's priced at $368k (68 average). If you take out his green vest effected games (excluding finals), he averaged 81.

He played most of last season (including the 2 finals, without the vest), so we can assume he's entrenched in the side.

He's done very well in the NAB cup matches (scores of 115 & 117) from ~70% ToG.

So based on all the stats, the question is, can he be a keeper?

I think he will average 94-102. Is that enticing enough to take him? Possibly.

For me he's a much better option than his brother, even though he costs $62k more and Brad has some decent history.

Thoughts?
Brads the better player and if he's fit he's nearly up with libba in the must have mid pricers especially with danger gone he'll have a big year.

Speaking of big years ...Cripps... I think he will go huge this year.

Ive been doing a lot if thinking about happy meal! Ive come to the conclusion that he may not be a cash cow but instead a real slow milker! He may one day, at 26-29 years old be at 450-500 but he'll slowly creep up there being SC irrelevant..

SC has done me again, half a bottle of single barrel jack straight up since the kids are in bed and still havent been able to solve this puzzle! ****! Hahaha and work can Gagf tomorrow, thats for damn sure!

I reckon you stfu! Haha hes my pod this year, i believe no danger will increase his midfield load, hes not going to receive the attention danger did as thats all going to sloane (who is also a gun and would fit in any team, just not mine) and his DE is solid!

Its a make or break decision, im liking him to how I liked shiel last year, who really performed week in week out. He'll fly under the radar somewhat with opposition players as thommo and rory get most of it..

Ive toyed with my side, wines in, crouch out, wines in, crouch out.. Today he stays in my side, im absolutely sold on the bloke!

I currently have mid-pricers Lonergan, M Crouch, Liberatore, Hall and Wells plus $293k cash.

See how they go after two rounds then if needed use a trade to ditch the worst performing one after round 2 for a mid-pricer or premo who looks the goods.

In other words take a risk but hedge my bets. Thoughts?

Fwoar!!!

Thats littered with potential! If someone went with that, and it went well.. Thats a winner.. Slim pickins, but the entire midfield and ruck would then be set and forget..

But if that backfired, well.. Its a long wait til sc17, this game is a about risks v reward.. Who can swallow their pride?

I might sign the mrs up n make her a risk v reward team n see how it goes haha

Burning a trade with such sporadic rookie types is probably a risk, could pay off! I see where youre going with it tho.. Were you planning on burning a trade just before the BE? (So long as theyve played 3 games)

You're at work now.
That stuff tomorrow is just to pay for Supercoach Gold.

Certainly! Go for it! I did my balls last year on rage trades, injuries and spuds.. Ran out just before the GF with an ol mate.. Played 20 vs 22 and missed by a bees dick! Im not sold on burning trades just yet, just my opinion dude.. May work out really well for ya
Cheers. Am happy to use trades in the first two rounds to correct my rookies. Could do the same for my mid-pricers, but hopefully I'll pick the right ones so no trades are needed :rainbow:

Aaron Hall has really stepped up a gear. Only query I have is how GAJ & Prestia affect his role & scoring.

Then there's Lonergan who will fill Swallow role in mids.
