10 games left.

13 victories usually gets you in the top 8. They need to go 7 and 3 to sneak in.

Can they don't? Doubt it.
No chance!

They haven't beaten a top-8 team all season & they play plenty in the run home.

Yep never. Except for games earlier in the year. But they never let the fact that they gave up stop them from not giving up. They overcame giving up in order to not give up.

Or some shit like that
No, giving up only means in the context of the season . Ken said so. ;)

Dixon is so overrated. The amount of times the ball comes towards him, and he doesn't do anything with it is ridiculous. It's like a wasted forward-entry. Port getting exactly what they deserve.
For someone his size the lack of contested marking 1 on 1 seems quite low. Unless he the defender loses their balance he doesn't take the mark.

Might turn on AA

Just did, to find out how Fireman Kane is coping.

And heard: "Well, the thing is about Charlie Dixon is he is rarely outmarked."

So they've got a huge marking forward, who is paid a shitload of money to mark the footy, and now his big strength is his opponent doesn't mark it either.

Before the match he was on FOX said something like "Dixon is the best forward in the competition" hahah

Dixon was much better used by Gold Coast, they played him high up the ground while rucking so he was a marking target around the centre of the ground where he doesn't have to out-mark a key defender and can then kick it to Lynch in the forward 50. Would love to know the stats for dropped marks by key forwards, he would have to be #1 then daylight.

Port have to win 7 out of their last 10. Cant see them making finals.

Great that Port lost! They had all the umpiring and Trengove was allowed to attack the body of the opposing ruckman all match without penalty, but that wasn't enough.
I heard that the Bullies complained about the one-sided umpiring at three-quarter time: I'm now breathlessly waiting for their flog of a coach to admit that this behaviour was "disgusting". :)

He had a massive cry when asked to play in the ruck and demanded he stays as a forward.
