I'll say it, we aren't a better side without him but **** me we'd be close to flag favourites with him.

Sliding Doors

If Patrick Dangerfield stayed at Adelaide, would our forward line be as effective with his poor entries into it.

Any correlation between him going and our forwards doing well?

No. We are different and better for it.

Must have been a very damaging accumulator.
I missed this bit.

Other unconfirmed reports say Featherby amassed 55 possessions for Footscray in 1975 and 56 against Fitzroy in 1983

AFL Tables has no record of these numbers

You were quick......
I was on, but it is right, you can be too focused on one thing / rather than balanced. Would you prefer Daniel Talia coming to you and saying can you fix us or Patrick Dangerfield saying can you pay me more and behind flawed?

Its very true to say we are different, and perhaps Jarryd Lyons and Mrouch don't get the same look in that they are now but id still take 48 and 2 goals.

Danger is a unique player. Strength and pace is unlike anyone in the game. Statistically he is probably the game's best player right now. Although Buddy wins that contest in terms of the "eye test". He will win a Brownlow, and good for him.

But I wont miss his blind kicks out of a pack to nothing. More times than not his entries in the F50 were shallow and easy to rebound. Hawthorn even set up for this last year in the Final against them.

Our big improvement this year has been in forward play. A big reason is deeper inside 50s from up field.

The big question is, would we wont him back. I would say no. Not because we are better without him, we are different. And that difference is what I hope will take us from a team hovering around 6-10th and being a real contender.

Danger has to be tagged or he will run rampant. Teams should know this by now.

PS. lol that terrible mod on the Port board is truly pathetic. Giving out the softest warnings. Must be sore after the pounding his team has received in the first half of the year.

Schulzenfest posted that Ken is great at giving motivational speeches.

Am very tempted to reply "They only work when someone else writes them and he reads it from flash cards"

But not interested in getting a holiday.

Lot of guff here about a inside fella beast that we built around for a few seasons. His disposal wasn't great. But he had a highlight reel. Now he's gone. Now our Club means Business. There is a correlation.

Swallow was out and Cunnington injured I hear ?? That would go some way to explaining how in the hell they let him get 48, with Jacobs out too thats their 3 best negating types.

Port poster says he can't work out why such an 'average playing group' can play so well.....because Port's playing group is soooo good lol. Knowledge fail....Tex, Talia, Betts, Jenkins, Sloane, Jacobs, Crouch Bros etc etc. yeah pretty average, couldn't possibly get a game at Port.

Rather have a coach who is a great tactician than one who is a walking cliche

They'd know about average playing groups, they've supported one for a fair while.
