He's fine, not even .01 mm of a tear, just a slight strain so the medicos have eased him back. Could play a game this week if it was a Grand Final, which he will eventually get to do for the Saints.
We are playing the long game, he has three years to get it right, by then he will be only 23!

Played 22 games in his first season, finished 4th in B and F, says it all IMO.
Freeman may never play a game for us, let's be serious.

For all those doubting the likes of dunstan, acres, ross etc amd asking them to be traded. For examples sake, look at armo, took him years to breakout and now id say he is borderline if not elite!. Imagine if we traded him an he started playing like this at another club?. Just got to have patience

And ps i was pleased with all our young players games yesterday. We took it right up to port for 3 and a half quarters in Adelaide. In ADELAIDE!. They are a geniune top 4 team at Adelaide oval. We just ran out of gas, that will come once these younger players get some more preseasons into them

If he's NOT seeing a muscle & tendon specialist I'd be concerned.

Let's humour Brian speaking for a minute. IF what he says about Freeman being concerned about going more than 80% is true. If anyone professional or amateur has recovered from a serious injury then they'd know the mental side of recovery is often tougher than the physical side. What I'm saying is it's not big news for a guy in Freeman's situation to have a few mental demons in his recovery. Him having concerns about pushing himself does NOT mean a re-injury will occur.
