Just in on SEN.
Tyrone Vickery: Expected deal to be signed tomorrow and that tigers won't match if it 25 or 26 but more than likely will if it isn't.
Jaeger O'Meara: Expects the deal to get a bit messy but done. which is the main thing
Tom Mitchell: After negotiations were put on hold he met with us and GCS and even though the suns offered more $$$$ it is believed that we will be nominated as he wants to come to vic. Wanted to stay a swannies but they couldn't come to the party with the money.
Jake Barrett: We are the front runners for him and seem to be very interested with port. A deal won't be done until the above are and could be done within the last 3 days. Also depends on how the list is and who is delisted.

Thanks for the update legend.. Hopefully it all gets done.

At least you can't say we are willing to give up quality, and personally, from this point in time, losing Poppy could be far better for us than losing Sicily who has his whole future in front of him and we have no idea of how good he could become.

Que....
... Mexican girl...;)

I love Poppy, but I think it would be worse to lose someone young with a lot of promise like Sicily.
agree with this, he will always be known as a three time Hawthorn premiership champion, so at 29, if he can get an extra bit of super at the end of his career, why not. I also wonder whether he has been receiving less like the rest of his teammates, to help keep this great side together.

bloody disgrace what a corrupt piece of crap that commission has turned into

where is hawks handout?
"It was ruled that the Lions met the requirements for a priority pick when considering the club’s current age and list profile, as well as recent movement both in and out of the club."
Id say we meet that comfortably, lost 6 assistant coaches buddy suckling etc etc
Don't forget we didn't win a flag this year. Heck, we didn't even make the Grand Final. We should get a priority pick at the start of round one as compensation to prevent this ugly set of circumstances ever happening again. Get to it, Gil.

If we trade Poppy and then Breust leaves as a FA next year I'll lose my shit

We'll get a 1st round pick in comp for Bruest anyway.

I doubt that Poppy leaves unless it huge $.

In which case good for him, he deserves it. Probably hasn't even made a $1mil over his whole career.

Literally just back home for having a cheeky beer with "our captain".

Inside word was that we were looking very good for O'meara, Mitchell and Vicekery. Said Vickery needed a change of scenery, and that we were waiting of GCS for a suitable trade for O'meara (no names mentioned) but was confident we could pull it off given Hilly's pending move to Freo for Mundy pick.

Skipper was very bullish that we would gain all 3 named targets that we have been associated with.

Mayne don't you mean?

From Sven inc's mate Nick Bowen aka "The Trade Whisperer". Finey had him on from 7pm tonight.

You mean the 16 year old who reports already broken news and rumours he reads about on bigfooty and engages in needless slanging matches on Twitter with people who rightly call him out for being full of shit?

Not even AFL media are as pathetically immature as that flog.

Jake Barrett was picked up as a NSW zone selection by the GWS Giants on the back of a strong AFL Under 18 Championships and excellent results at the 2013 AFL Draft Combine where he finished second in the beep test reaching level 15.6 as well as a top 10 result in the 20-metre sprint.
A strong 2015 season in the NEAFL from the tough on-baller was rewarded when Barrett made his debut as the sub for the GIANTS in round 23 against Melbourne. The 20-year-old averaged 29 possessions a game in the NEAFL - 14 of those contested - and was ranked first in the competition for tackles. Barrett's quality season was rewarded when he was named in the NEAFL Team of the Year.

A 184cm, 80kg speedy endurance athlete who is also a contested ball beast!! Ahem... Let's get him!!!

Anybody know about his skill level?

sounds like a good prospect. bring him in, learn the hawthorn way in 2017 and come in 2018 when the legends leave.

Don't ask me ask Sven inc, it's his mate.

Ben Jarman needs to get on his dads diet and he will be ok.

The kid has tricks and is worth a shot for sure.

I think playing at the Crows would be too much pressure on him and he will choose us.

Let's hope he doesn't burn us after 4-5 years like his old man.

From the AFL website

The Swans are awaiting a decision from Tom Mitchell and a resolution of the collective bargaining negotiations to determine how much flexibility they have in what they can offer their out of contract players.

If the 23-year-old decides to join Hawthorn, he will add to the juggling act required of Hawks list manager Graham Wright to trade in Gold Coast's Jaeger O'Meara.

AFL.com.au understands contracted forward Luke Breust will be at the Hawks next season, while other options thrown forward such as James Sicily and Billy Hartung are not likely to be attractive to the Suns.

.........
Also that Carlton had Chris Judd meet him at Optus oval

Those above two names just scream scuzzy douches to me.
Wish Bolts wasn't there, be happy if they were left to necrotize for the next 20 years.
Have yet to see Judd have a classy moment that wasn't about himself.
Shudder.:mask:
