As for the Boyd type doozy that people have referred to earlier. Has anyone thought that it may actually be Tom Boyd? Surely the Dogs have realised that his contract is a massive problem for them now and could be looking to offload him so that they can retain their young guns. Could explain why they are going for Cloke this off season and it would fit in with the player from out West too.

Not sure why we'd trade for Fyfe this year. Better he stays at Freo for another year and we bid to pick him up as a free agent at the end of 2017.
Freo won't match as they'll get another Top 4 pick in return for him.

Here's the thing on Hawthorn, I can't see clubs going out of their way to make trading easy given the players they have drafted in in recent years and they nearly pulled off a 4peat.

Our best option is to trade Vickery and FA Zac Clarke.

We could also look at Mayne if he doesn't cost us anything.

Both are unrestricted so could choose us as opposed to take the highest bid or bid that their club doesn't match.
