I am confused? Is this from the Collingwood board - whose star forwards and coaches? Are we talking Gov and Teague or Collingwood player and coach? They dont have any star forwards do they other than Moore? I dont see why one of our star forwards (could only be Gov) would say I will go to Collingwood but only if they sack Buckley first. Never going to happen.

Mark Stevens randomly mentioned Mitch and Collingwood linked after a Friday night game a few weeks ago (not a Crows game). Seemed strange but thats the only time I've heard them linked

Is there any evidence that he cant handle living away from his parents at 22 years of age? Think we make massive assumptions about players wanting to live close to their parents, especially if the boy is from the country. I would be amazed if we didnt retain him. I think he is the one that you must keep and I think the club will realise that and make him an attractive enough offer.

hard to reply to everyone here, the person that has told me this believes we are in favour for McGovern and has told me this for a few weeks

today he has stated what he has heard over the weekend but gave me no names just what i stated. Its possible he has an idea but wont say

in my opinion
i say say we are in a 3 way tie with McGovern, and the nearer the end of the season and clubs making cut throat decisions such as the suns we are in the wings ready to make the best situation we can.

We have to keep McGovern, ditch Lever for Sidebum and we'd be laughing. Wouldn't surprise me this is the reason why we haven't decided to pony up for Lever $$ wise. We want a mid.
Hell we could even get Gibbs and Sidearse for next year.
Absolute gun & would absolutely kill it in our team, a better fit than Gibbs or Rockliff at the AFC.
