How long were you on hold for?
It took me two days of calling to even get through to be on hold but then once I got through I was probably on hold for about 25 min. Spoke to a very nice guy in the membership team though. Also re-registered my baby bulldog and put in the $30 for the Women's team. I assume the membership covers those games as well although I didn't ask.

Was O/S for quite a few years with no membership. Thought I'd update my last few days for any supporter/non members looking to be new members

I registered on web for new member on Monday but couldn't get anything purchased for membership or even achieved beyond just registration confirmed on Wed

Started calling on Monday but didn't get to speak to anyone (recorded message after 20 min wait saying leave your details) until this morning that is (Thurs).

I asked questions about Coterie - Top Dogs just to understand how it worked given little info on the web, but advised all sold even I wanted to go down that path.

Gold home - Sold out (waitlist available to cover 2016 members not renewing)
Premiership Circle - Sold out (no waitlist available)
Social Club - Sold out (waitlist available to cover 2016 members not renewing)

I purchased Silver Home with waitlist for Gold home and waitlist for Social Club. Cant remember which waitlist but one of them had a charge to be on it. At this stage they have no idea of the size of waitlists and woman on phone said overwhelmed with calls all week and looking to stay that way for a while

Incredible achievement in 2016 doggies...will be talked about by everyone for years to come and hopefully one of many.

Lucky I got my GA with SC membership on Saturday night. I was laying in bed thinking lll wait till payday then decided to just do it.

Boomer kids follow bulldogs now
That's great but unfortunately Adam Cooney said today on SEN that he "didn't have as much emotion about the bulldogs premiership as other past players did" because he considers himself a bomber now. Disappointing to hear IMO.

A lot of players who just retire say they are x club they finished at until time passes by.

I heard that interview too and was shattered at first. But then I recalled the words of his wife who after Adam left explained that it wasn't entirely his decision -that the club made it very hard for him to stay.
So with that in mind that the club effectively helped him out the door I could probably understand that two years later he felt like he did.

You then hear Brian lake was crying and that too makes sense given it was his decision to leave - he was successful after leaving so wouldn't hold any serious long term angst against the club.

gonna pick up my usual sideline membership for 60 bucks, gonna pick the scarf as my add on thing. Gonna do what i usually do and watch all the games on telly by myself so i can vent at the tv and go to the game at adelaide oval and one at etihad

No because there is a few sideline memberships or long distance memberships, plus 3 or 5 game packages. There is no limit!
What happens if we have 65000 members and its our home game and 55000 go to it that are our home members then plus teams who have home and away memberships.. if that makes sense. The numbers I have used aren't probably appropriate but you get the point in trying to make.

We have 41K members, how many times did we pull 41k to our home games?

Not all members go to games.

Stadiums will close once at capacity (rarely happens)

We change homeground to the MCG now that the AFL bought etihad and contractual obligations to play there is hopefully not grandfathered.

While as Dogs supporters we are used to Etihad as we play the majority of our home games there if we did get to 50,000 members we would have a good case to play a bit more at the MCG which certainly would not hurt us.

How do you think the eagles deal with 60k+ members in a 44k seat stadium? Be prepared for a lot more fully ticketed games, or we may play home games at the mcg.

Our club has come such a long way. We have a lot more supporters out there than we think. Getting the train in last Sunday from the eastern suburbs to go to Whitten Oval for the premiership party there was a a good number of the train and waiting at Flinders street station.

I was one of them eastdog. I tell you what, it has changed a lot from the days of catching the train in the nineties. As a kid I would get excited seeing other Dogs on the Glen Waverley line. Now there is red, white and blue abound on any given matchday.
